The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff — Asanka, Harry, and Chamodh — were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The food was delicious, and the view was absolutely beautiful. We arrived to the W15 Ambulawawa on our first day of our Sri Lankan adventure. After a long day of driving we arrived in the afternoon to paradise. Greeted warmly by the kind Achini and Amila our stay began perfectly with a dip in the stunning infinity pool. Sunset can be viewed from the special sunset deck the perfect place to unwind and chill - simply spectacular. Every care was given to us by Yapa who catered to our every need. Dinner and breakfast were delicious thank you Sanjiwa and Yapa. We walked to the Ambulawawa tower from there, a steep short climb - perfect before the big breakfast we were served. Can't wait to reccomend to our friends To be honest, we would rate 11 but it's not an option.

We loved our stay at Aqua Dunhinda Nature Retreat! The service was excellent, and we are grateful to the stuff, and especially the manager Harry, for their help, organising a taxi for us and giving us tasty breakfast to go when we checked out early. Our chalet and the view from it on the longest river in Sri Lanka were amazing! The feel is like you live in the jungle, but in the comfortable accommodation and you could hear the flow of the river all the time. There is a family of monkeys in the area, so we could see them around, which also adds some good memories for the trip. There are many trails, where we could go for a walk, and a swimming pool with a nice view as well. We had one dinner there and the food was delicious. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel very much and we will be happy to come back again!

The place was beautiful, a little off-road and in the middle of nature. Perfect place to sit back and relax in between big Sri Lankan cities. So quiet and only sounds of nature. The host was super nice, making everything possible for us, bringing us to the most beautiful sunset spot (10 minute hike), preparing the best sri lankan food for dinner, arranging the breakfast table so we could have breakfast with the beautiful view, bringing us to the train station by tuktuk, … The rooms are cozy and the view from the rooms and balconys is incredible, highly recommended! We will definitely come back next time!
