Lone Star Residence is newly built and furnished to exceptionally high standards. It is an inviting, spacious, hospitable place to stay with excellent facilities - kitchen especially but in truth, all rooms. Location - 15 mins taxi Palaly Int Airport; 5 mins drive Inuvil railway station; 10/15 mins drive Jaffna; 5 mins drive Chunnakam. The actual physical location is attractive in its serenity. Its located in a quiet lane on Manipay Road overlooking agricultural land owned/rented by smallholders. Noise and external interference is absolutely minimal.

Our room was fantastic. We had a living room area with a big TV and good English channels. There is a large fridge to keep your drinks and snacks cold. A table with 2 chairs for sitting at if working or to use for making coffee or tea with the kettle and mugs provided. A separate bedroom with a large king bed was super comfortable. The mattress was not too hard and the linen was pure cotton. A light duvet is perfect for the temperature. The pillows were 2 per person, 1 king and 1 normal and also so comfortable. We had a good-sized cupboard to hang our clothes, a safe, and an ironing board. The bathroom was en-suite with a good, hot shower, toilet, and basin. The bedroom opened up onto a backyard patio with comfortable benches to sit on if you wanted to be outside but still at your room. The aircon in both the living room and bedroom worked perfectly. They also provide a large umbrella for your use. The swimming pool is lovely, with deck chairs, soft cushions, and shade provided. They also give you swimming pool towels. There is a good-sized gym which we did not use but it looked fully stocked with all the necessary equipment. We ordered room service a few times and the service and food were very good. The actual dining room is fantastic and we enjoyed an evening feasting on a Sri Lankan buffet with loads of different dishes. The staff were all amazing and so helpful. We were able to park our car on the premises where a full-time guard is stationed. They even washed the car for us. It was sad to say goodbye but we loved our stay here in Jaffna.

Abi Holiday Villa was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in a serene, spacious property surrounded by lush gardens, this villa is the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere—filled with the gentle rustle of palm trees and birdsong—made it easy to unwind. The villa itself is impeccably maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The interiors are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with modern amenities (like a fully equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms) that made our stay effortless. But the true star of the show is the outdoor space! The sprawling garden feels like a private oasis, ideal for morning coffees on the patio, leisurely strolls among flowering plants, or evenings grilling under the stars. Our kids loved playing freely in the safe, open area, and we cherished the alfresco dining setup surrounded by nature. Location-wise, it’s a gem—tucked away for privacy yet conveniently close to Keerimalai’s natural springs and a short drive from Jaffna’s cultural sites. The quiet neighborhood added to the restorative vibe, but we never felt isolated. A special shout-out to the host, who was attentive and gracious, offering local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly elevated our experience.
