Everything was just perfect. The family was so friendly and kind and helpful. We just felt like we were at home ❤️ very clean and big rooms, not hot even in the cabana, anyway there is a fan available. The food was SOOOOOO delicious 😋 We did the forest tour with Saman and he spot many animals, he shows us many and many things in the forest, we also visited a waterfall and took a bath there! Once again, thanks so much to the amazing host, we will miss you so much. 100000% recommend.

The whole experience was amazing. From the warm welcom through the beautiful room with great view. And Hemel , the owner that is a gifted guide to the rainforest. So kind and nice and at the same time knowlagble and quick to spot every living thing. They are a young couple with a little girl that own and run this amazing g place. I stayed at Sinharaja Pitadeniya Hut in Lankagama during our research work in Sinharaja, and it was an excellent experience! The location is ideal—conveniently close to the main road and within easy access to both the Lankagama and Pitadeniya entrances of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. This made it very practical for our research activities. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was included in the price and featured authentic local dishes, which were both delicious and satisfying. The host was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a day of work. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone visiting the area, whether for research or leisure. Highly recommended!

I booked a one-night stay here after a 2 night stay elsewhere, as I'd heard such wonderful things about Prabath as a host and guide of the rainforest - and I am so glad I did! Prabath is an incredibly kind, friendly and genuine host. He is so invested in the work he does, is deeply knowledgeable about the Sinhajara rainforest and took me on the best and most fun tour I think I've ever been on! He has such positive energy, is genuinely interested to get to know his guests, and provides an experience that is truly generous and unique. He's the guy you want to go to if you're looking for an off-the-beaten-track experience of the forest. I learned so much about the local villages, frora and fauna, visited several waterfalls and had a lot of fun riding in the back of his motorbike! The accommodation itself is stylish and very comfortable. His wife is really sweet and a tremendous cook - one of the best dinners and breakfasts I've had in Sri Lanka! Thank you kindly for an unforgettable experience, Prabath. I look forward to returning some day!

The cabin is in the heart of the forest and among tea plantations. To reach the cabin you have to cross two small creeks where you can also enjoy the natural pools. The cabin is very clean with a comfortable bed, there I also an outside patio where dinner and breakfast are served. There is electricity thanks to a solar panel. Ravindra is a very kind and attentive host. He will help you with your backpacks and will bring your meals to the cabin. He also organises tour of the forest and accompany you to the forest with his tuk tuk. We asked for dinner and breakfast and both meals were very good and with large portions both prepared by Ravindra's mother. Both during the day and night you can see a lot of birds and other animals around the cabin. Definitely one of the best experiences in our trip to Sri Lanka.

The location of Dolagawa is magical. There is a river and a small waterfall where you can swim right next to the resort. We went to the Sinharaja Forest and the host arranged a 3-4 hour tour for us which was really nice. The food was good and the staff was welcoming, helpful and super friendly!
