Still very good to reach by tuk tuk, by train: from Colombo to Jaffna stop Parasanfaswewa - railwaystation S. Titon. Etc. 5 minutes from busstop. From Anuradhapura busstation bus no 861. Stop Paradanjaswewa, Jambirija Swewa road. Or bus nr 161. Busstop Village Garden Inn, Ithalakotiyawrwa. More information to get from host 071-3121570 (0094). If you stay a week or more a kitchen can be used. Every day around 18.00 hours you can see elephants quite nearby at one of the thee lakes. 2 or 3 or 6. Very exiting. They come to drink water. We stayed for two nights and it was a fantastic time. The breakfast and dinner were super delicious and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The also organised us a safari trip to wilpattu and a very nice transfer to negombo. The hotel has a very nice pool, the place is so lovely with a very green and beautiful environment.

I had an incredible stay at this property! Having visited Anuradhapura before, I can honestly say this time felt like a real getaway. The location is perfect—close to all the must-see landmarks, which made it so easy to explore the history and culture of the area. This has to be the best accommodation in town. The property was simply stunning. Exceptionally well run by a beautiful family who are attentive and caring to all your needs. It’s a new facility with spotlessly clean and well presented villas including a great pool to refresh your senses after a day of visiting the sights. Great value for money . Highly recommend.

Small family run business with 4 rooms and an onsite restaurant. Room was beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were super comfortable too. The meals were simply devine, home cooked to order with very generous portions. Staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We hired bikes from the property and they were in super condition and came together with a sturdy lock. They were more than happy to make any adjustments to ensure we were comfortable. Host made sure we took socks with us when we visited the Stupas which was an absolute blessing and prevented our feet getting seriously burnt.
