The property is brand new, very well decorated and clean. Since it’s outside the main road, it’s also very quiet and peaceful. The owner and staff are the friendlier and caring you can find - ready to assist any time - who also prepare delicious and varied breakfast every day. We booked the place for two nights and ended up staying six. WiFi works is extremely fast, which is very convenient if you have to work and do VTC. Also the rooms are much bigger than advertised, they have a separate kitchen and a washing machine! We would definitely go back to this peaceful hidden gem! A special thanks to Sasini and Menaka for their kindness - we will miss you!

The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from and above all, owners are wonderful people, so kind and friendly. They are very welcoming and affectionate. A perfect blend of comfort and luxury - I would highly recommend this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Exceptional service! Our stay at Sielen Diva exceeded all expectations for many reasons: - The villa is GORGEOUS - the pictures on the booking page are already beautiful, but in person it's even more beautiful. The common areas are comfortable and the room was spaceous, luxurious and worked well for our 7 day stay. The close proximity to the nearly private, quiet beach is also a massive a massive bonus as the beaches in the area are fairly crowded with tourists. - The food is DELICIOUS - we traveled around Sri Lanka for 2 weeks and the food at Sielen Diva was the best we had throughout our whole trip. The menu is extensive with everything from Avocado toast and granola bowls in the morning to delicious fresh juices, specialty cocktails, home made ice cream to more traditional sri lankan food such as curries. I also have to mention that the chef and villa manager are super attentive to their guests' needs. Every evening we got a special mix of curries, one of us is allergic to onion and the food was adapted to this and we briefly mentioned that we love mangoes, after which we got fresh mango daily. - The staff is the KINDEST we've ever experienced - the villa staff was honestly what made our trip (on top of everything else). Everyone is SO SO friendly, helpful and caring. I want to give a special mention to the villa manager George who went above and beyond throughout the whole week to make our stay comfortable and smooth, organising rides, a special birthday celebration with cake, giving advice, picking up fresh veggies, seafood and fruit from the farmer's market and generally being an amazing human. Both of us have traveled loads around the world and stayed at top notch hotels and our experience at Sielen Diva was among the best (if not the best) hotel experience we've ever had. Do yourself a favor and STAY HERE!!!

Its a fantastic place, just at the beach and well planned hotel, pools, beach, restaurants, bars, lobbys are equally catering to customer service points. We had our best hotel experience at Araliya Unawatuna. Even met the owner and had a generous chat during breakfast which is so touching and personalized service standard I believe. Easy to visit Galle Fort, just a walk to the golden sandy beaches. Staff from top management to the ground staff is well trained to give excellent customer care. We specially thanking to our 7th flour room service staff who simply helped us in technical support, bars and restaurant staff and Nethmi & Dakshika and all wonderful reception staff memebers.

Small village with the best Ocean I've ever seen/feel. Only Ocean is enough for me to spent here a month. And nothing to do without Ocean. The rests are good, but not exceptional, no museums or viewpoints, a few attractions maybe wildlife nature, but not more.

Wonderful beach.

Wonderful beach. Unawatuna is tropical bliss: golden crescent beach, clear snorkeling waters, and a relaxed vibe. The beachfront villa was stylish, spotless, with ocean-view balconies and perfect sunrise views. Prime location—steps to the shore, near cafes and jungle paths, yet peaceful. Flawless in every way.

we stayed here at the end of September so the sea was not as...

we stayed here at the end of September so the sea was not as calm as it would normally be (or so the locals told us) but you could still go into the sea but maybe not for too long. We enjoyed ambling around the town and going into Gaul more. We used the pool at our hotel more than the beach here.

All sea view rooms and the room we stayed in was very spacious . A few minutes walk to jungle beach. The staff was friendly and even made arrangements to get our meals sorted. There is a kitchen and if we bring the raw materials we can even cook on our own , just need to pay them for the space we use. Over all I enjoyed unwatuna because it was conveniently located too.

Great place to go we stayed three nights I would stay less. Slightly more expensive than Mirrisa and the tourist are mainly Russian. Turtle beach is great. Recommend as best place to see turtles for free .

Fantastic stay at Lara’s Place. Stayed in the penthouse with incredible huge wrap around balcony with stunning views over Unawatuna and the Indian Ocean. Was so peaceful and serene on the hill away from the noise of main beach. Lara the owner is such a great host, so helpful and accomodating with any requests, organising tuks tuks making recommendations etc. he made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Oh and the Sri Lankan breakfasts were so yummy and generous. Best egg hoppers I had during my 4 weeks in Sri Lanka.

The hotel is well located. The beach front is great for a walk but it's not suitable for swimming which isn't an issue as Wijeya beach is only 2 min drive. Very pleased with the room size and bathroom , had plenty of space. The Sri Lankan meals were absolutely delicious. The staff was very helpful. Thank you George and your staff for your hospitality .

Location in tuktuk drive away from Unawatuna and Jungle beach but very private and quiet because it is away from the main road. The rooms are amazing and spacious with own kitchen and balcony. As there are not many rooms then the hotel and pool area feels private and relaxing. The staff is helpful and keeps the place tidy.
