I booked this place at short notice in between stays arranged by my travel agent, but would have made it our base for 3 days in Tangalle area, if I had known about it earlier. It is a beautifully furnished former private home, a true boutique hotel. Everything was of the best. There is a large pool, with a shallow area for young children. It is set in extensive gardens, growing mainly cinnamon, coconut and pepper; the garden makes a pleasant walk, with the opportunity to admire many peacocks. The lunch we were served on arrival, the dinner and breakfast were all outstanding, well prepared and presented, generous and very reasonably priced. Beds are comfortable with bedside tables and reading lights. There are a number of outdoor areas to sit. Prabath and his colleagues were very attentive to our comfort and he was able to tell us the history of the house. I had an excellent massage from a therapist who is on call; I understand that the hotel is building an Ayurvedic centre on the grounds, and there is already a separate cabana which has been used for yoga sessions. It would be an excellent place for either a romantic escape or a yoga/spa/ meditation retreat. Highly recommended and full marks to Prabath’s management.

We had the suite, with the large terrace, directly on the beachfront. It was simple amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room service can be arranged by whatsapp. The menu and drinks have enough variety for 5-6 days. The beach is very quite and beautiful. Highlight was diner at the beachfront. Also, the spa menu gives your some good options for relaxation.

Everything about this stay was exeptional from the comfort of the room to the quality of the breakfast and the cleanliness was brilliant. This was topped off by having the perfect host/owner. If you are visiting tangalle this place is a MUST to stay. I CANNOT reccoment enough. We would stay here again in a breath

The owner and her team are amazing - welcoming, helpful and very friendly! The room was spacious, clean and had a great balcony - one of the best we had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was delicious and a lot, we loved all homemade delicacies. The owner provided us with useful tips and recommendations, and can support with any question on the activities.

Staff is really attentive and helpful. This makes for a really stress free vacation as we did not have to worry about a thing. Food was delicious and always prepared fresh. Beach was as epic as it gets, long and wide sandy strip. Pool was well taken care of and loungers were plenty to be found in shade and in sun. Rooms, although simple, were comfortable and cleaned daily. Location is good, quiet and relaxing.
