This is our first visit to the city of Tétouan . It’s a beautiful place to visit and a lot of places to visit Martel The old city Al finadiq Septa Chefchaouen Very nice Cafes and Restaurants and Beaches
Very hilly but taxis very cheap. Not a place for those who have walking problems. The day starts slowly and quiet until about 1pm when streets become very busy and a bit claustrophobic. A trip to the Beach at Martil definitely worth it. If you can take public transport/shared taxis to sights as it is so inexpensive. A 1 hour plus trip in a luxury coach to the Blue City cost just over 5 euros for two adults (seniors). Definitely worth a visit to see a more real Morocco but if you want the touristy vibe head to Marrakech .
We drove all across Morocco, from Marrakech to Merzouga and then north up to Tangier. I must say Tetuan was the less touristic city in all our trip from our point of view. What was really good was shopping. We managed to get lots of things at very affordable prices (much cheaper than other cities in Morocco).
Enjoyed the more traditional Moroccan market, a market that isn't focused on tourists. Tetouan is situated in a beautiful mountain valley and the Spanash/Moroccan architecture in the old town make it an interesting city to explore. I would have liked more time to explore the area.
Tetouan is a quiet, less touristy city with a Spanish influence in its architecture. It’s about 1h15 from Chefchaouen by bus and Grand taxis take you up the coast to M’diq of which the beach boardwalk is the highlight. People are friendly and helpful but beware of men trying to take you to the Berber markets as they only want to sell you carpets!
We were there to visit family so we got to visit the local places as well as more touristy areas. Martil and M'Diq are two coastal towns about 20 minutes away by car. The vibe is very different from southern Morocco, and worth visiting for a new perspective of the country.
Tetouan
The accommodation was very comfortable, and a very beautiful building. Well worth the price. We really enjoyed having our own keys to access the property instead of having to knock and wait for staff (like a lot of road’s). The standout was our host, who was the best host we had throughout Morocco! He met us at the entrance of the Medina to guide us to the Riad, showed us around, and bought us the best Pastilla we had ever had! He was definitely the highlight. Super helpful. The bathroom was simple and small, but clean and did its job!
El Manantial is a gorgeous place hidden deep in the Medina. From the moment you walk inside, everything about this place, from the wall mosaics to the natural lighting, is beautiful. With that said, the staff are by far its best and most memorable quality. Nabil and Madani were both exceptional, genuinely friendly, and willing to accommodate us and our toddler. The ladies who take care of the riad were great as well, as was Mohammed, a guide who knows everything there is to know about Tetouan. We hope to come back again!
The people mostly, everybody is so welcoming and ready to help you in every which way. It also doubles up as a café and you get the chance to know of locals (equally helpful and welcoming). The place is also an authentic 18th century Riad and looks really nice. Fairly clean, nice breakfast, really honest, nothing really wrong with it. But again, the people are what make this place worth staying. I have met more friends here than in the rest of Morocco combined ...
Tetouan
Dar Fama is your second home in Morocco. Host Youness immediately makes you feel welcome and even shows you around in the Medina, so you won’t get lost. We truly appreciated this extra service. Dar Fama has a beautiful rooftop with an amazing view. Having breakfast at the rooftop is a great start to a beautiful day in the medina of Tetouan. The rooms are cosy, spacious and very clean. Congratulations to the whole team of Dat Fama for their effort.

amazing people working here! Zakaria, Anas, and Aisha are truly kind and make this hostel the special place that it is. Soo clean as well, Naima keeps the rooms & common area spotless ✨ Perfect location for visiting local parks, restaurants, stores in the heart of Tetouan, and walking distance from the medina + the CTM bus station / taxis to get to the beach. Come enjoy 💚
Tetouan
One of the best hostels I've stayed in! It felt more like a home than a hostel. Marouane is a great host and the atmosphere was so friendly. It's the perfect place to meet people and enjoy the city. And it's also very cosy, with a nice bed, good breakfast and an incredible view over Tetouan. Merci Marouane!
Tetouan
The manager is good at his job -- understands the details of the house and is dedicated to presenting it the best he can. This is a beautiful authentic riad with a lovely history. The location lets you inside the city and close to local culture. I would not have experienced the true Tetouan in another hotel.
The apartment is located in the heart of the city of Tetouan, a beautiful place filled with history and art. Loved the communication of the hosts and their availability, Also I appreciate their help beyond necessary for recommendations, places to visit...
The staff were exceptional, the breakfast spectacular, the location was very good , the hotel has some parking lots at the front and on a side of the building so you will have no problem to park outside. I recommend this hotel to stay in Tetuán.

Fantastic location in tetouan. Good facilities and lovely rooms with unique touches. Obviously a bit more expensive than other accommodation, but well worth the money for one or two nights. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel.

The view was amazing!! Breakfast was delicious!! Staff super friendly. Within walking distance from the bus station. Right inside the Medina. Easy to find. Great place to stay. Our favourite in Morocco!!!
Hotel was perfectly located before the mountain view and river in Tetouan for a breathtaking view. Staff were super friendly and kind. The room was nice and spacious, clean and very cosy.
Recent and modern. Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast was nice and the relation price-quality is good. Probably the best Hotel in Tétouan.
All was perfectly good. Fantastically helpful staff. Clean like in pharmacy (comparing to other places we stayed in Morocco). Good location.
The hotel is satisfying. It needs a bit of amenities like tissue boxes in the room, slippers, better beddings
the hotel has a beautiful decor and is super clean!
Location in old Tetouan
