It’s the perfect balance between nature and comfort. It is positioned alongside one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen and the huts are hidden among trees- making you feel like you’re staying in a tropical forest. The resort offers lots of services. The food is high quality and the staff are very attentive. The pictures online don’t do justice to the place. It’s more than a resort, it’s a unique vibe.

This place was exceptional!! I highly recommend it! Location, facilities, and hospitality were outstanding!! We had an amazing experience and would definitely love to return. We were fortunate to be the first guests at this property. Excellent location on the western side of the island. The bungalow is very luxurious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully appointed - you can tell they considered every small detail. The hospitality was truly amazing!! Floryan and Emilie were wonderful and generous hosts who, beyond ensuring everything was meticulous and precise, also helped us settle in and gave us excellent recommendations for everything from area tours to places to buy souvenirs. We stayed 3 nights with breakfast and dinner included. The meals were delicious, varied, fresh, and very thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend dining at the property. All products are fresh and local. The presentation itself is charming and the portions were generous and indulgent. The property has a stunning private beach, swimming pool, and since it's currently the only bungalow, there's plenty of peace and privacy. The location is very accessible to the town and for excursions. The bungalow is situated on beautiful, well-maintained private grounds with lots of fruit trees, and there's someone who takes care of cleaning and maintenance throughout the day (and night). I warmly recommend this place, especially for honeymooning couples or anyone who wants to stay at a high standard in a pastoral and pleasant setting. We had a magical experience!

Lakana hotel is one of the best choice you can choose on Sainte-Marie island. Location is beautiful. You can reserve bungalow on the tilt or in the garden (I had). The beach is cleaned everyday. The food is mostly local with a lot of fruits and it is very delicious. Bungalows are cozy and clean. Madam Rova (manager) is simply fantastic. She solved all my troubles with a transfer back to the mainland. Thanks again to all Lakana team. The only bad think is that one day you must leave, but I’ll be back soon :-) Tomas.

100% recommended!! ❤️ You’re in an isolated hotel, in the middle of nature, right in front of the ocean with a beautiful beach all to yourself! You can see and hear the ocean from your room. The excursion we did was super authentic—the guide truly loves his job and transmits his enthusiasm for the island! The owner is extremely kind, and together with the other employees, they always try to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The location and facilities are perfect!

I'm really surprised why this hotel has a low review. The room is big, the hot water comes in seconds. They cleanes my room every day. The staff are so nice and friendly. The food is very good. It is not very far from the city center, I walked from there tot the center many times.

The hotel staff was excellent, very accommodating! The view from basically any point of the hotel property is breathtaking. The food was very good too. It was nice to be able to do different kinds of activities that the hotel provides.
