Look no further. This hotel is the closest thing to paradise you will ever experience. The service is unbeatable; even in palaces, I don't think you could find such great staff. A very special thanks to Samuel, who made our stay even more unforgettable. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Mayan sauna with Luis. It was an incredible experience! The location is beautiful, though you have to earn it since it is 15 minutes from the road on bumpy dirt paths. However, with a bit of careful driving, any normal car can handle it. The rooms are nice, and there is a restaurant on site. The quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. If I had to take three days off from the world, I would definitely go back there without hesitation. Thank you again to Samuel and the entire team for the amazing stay we had.

My favourite hostel in Mexico and one of the bests I've ever been! The place is stunning, with a mix of modern and vintage design and a beautiful garden. A lot of amenitis are free: towel, shampoo and shower gel even bicycles to borrow! (Although some of them a bit rusty) and their free breakfast is awesome,probably better than a lot of cafè. All that said, the real plus of the place is the outstanding staff, especially Alejandra, Isac and Fernando were super sweet, went above and beyond their tasks; even invite me at the beach with them and drive me to the bus stop. Can't thank them enough for their wonderful hospitality

Bardo is… unique… When arriving at night, at the front desk, we could already feel that the atmosphere was different then other places we’ve been too. At the very first step you make your way to your room, you know that you are on a journey. When passing by the pool with all those trees, plants, lights, and decorations it gets clearer why you came here. You can feel the balance and respect that has been put in between the style of the infrastructures and the nature that is surrounding it, making it a place of harmony. Once we’ve arrived at the end of the path to our room, we could only be amazed by the simplicity, authenticity and taste of decoration. We were about to live in connection with Mother Nature. The transformation starts here. Not only the hotel made us feel reconnected to nature but the themazcal made us reconnect to our true selves and we felt more alive. It’s an incredible experience that I recommend to anyone who meditates and is looking for a higher self awareness and spiritual connection. Also the staff made us feel welcomed and took great care of us at anytime and any moment! Special thanks to Jay, Fernando and Shio at the front desk, who were really helpful and devoted when ever we needed help; to Alejandro, Martin, Manual, and Martin for there smiles, positive vibes and sympathique but professional way of being; to Gloria and the massage team who are very professional and caring; to Diego and Claudia, for they’re open hearts, minds, spirits and amazing work; to the cooking staff for there delicious dishes; to the security staff, who made us feel safe; and finally to the cleaning and gardening staff that makes this places magnificent, cared, respected and always tidy.     Monsoon season, meant a lot of sea weed on beaches although locals trying to keep of top of its removal and in the sea , stopping swimming, mosquitoes due to damp humid weather . Taxi is very expensive as no other public transport,so they can charge what they want , hire of scooters is cheaper.

    As a family with tweens we did not enjoy Tulum & will not be...

    As a family with tweens we did not enjoy Tulum & will not be back. The kids were not allowed many places/ restaurants. Algea covered the beach (it was july), the restaurants were priced higher than where we live but the quality of the food was poor. If you are a family I would skip and go elsewhere. The cenotes in the reason are awesome!

    Tulum is the jungle so go prepared. Repellent and sunscreen. Avoid taxi cabs it’s way too expensive. Opt to rent a car you will see way more of Tulum that way. Make sure to spend time at the cenotes. Avoid August because the seaweed makes the ocean unbearable.

    Once you know the right places to go, where to book transportation, which tours to take, I’m sure you will have the best experience and you won’t want to leave! The agency @xclusivetravelw helped me with concierge service with no charge, and they recommended the best spots, my camera roll is full of amazing content from Tulum.

    Tulum is a city you'd have to explore more, especially with car access which we didn't have. Things could get expensive fast with the transportation, souvenir shops, and cafes that cater to tourists. I spent $35 USD on brunch, which wasn't a lot or filling at all. Yet you turn the corner, and a birria taqueria fills you up for only $16 USD. Watch your spending.

    Tulum south is good, friendly and helpful people . It didn’t seem right to pay to visit paradise beech. No clear guidelines to visit beeches via resorts. We visited Tulum ruins but very unclear about the genuine ticket office as we were stopped at three places to buy tickets by unofficial representatives.

    We were travelling around Mexico for a month and this was so far THE BEST Hotel. We were charmed by it's looks at night. It's in great location close to the archeological zone and beaches, about 10-15 min. by walking and just around 3 km from center. Just across the road is a shuttle bus stop and you can also rent bikes. Staff were super friendly and helped us a lot. Especially Kevin, amazing guy, who made our stay even more special. If you are looking for an accommodation in Tulum, I highly recommend this Hostel!!!!!!!

    The hotel is unique and very authentic, make you feel the real Tulum, Mexico vibe. Its make you feel connected with the nature. From our rooms every morning we could see the wild life and very interesting species. The bottle of water in the room was refilled upon request. Staying in the hotel, allows us having free access to Orchid Beach House. Both Jungle and Beach Restaurants were good, we had couple of meals and cocktails. Very quite and romantic. The hotel was providing repellent in each of the rooms.

    Directly at the beach with great views, staff was really nice and accommodating. Great variety in the breakfast. The location is a bit outside of Tulum, which we knew beforehand. You can walk about 1 km to the highway and than take a collectivo from there to get to Tulum Pueblo or Zona hotelera in order to avoid super expensive taxis. Or just spend the day on the really nice beach.

    My stay in Irie Hotel was absolutely perfect. The hotel has very good facilities and the staff is amazing and helped us a lot during our stay. They have a very equipped gym which I didn’t find in any other hotel in tulum and a bar with very good food. The zone is very secure and in a very good location. I loved the penthouse apartment, it’s very big and has a private pool.
