I like that the place is easy to find and near to restaurants, convenience store and beach. It's my first time to go in a self check in/out accomodation and I'm glad that the instructions are clear. The place is quiet and I got to rest very well.

Our stay at the GAIA Hotel was a delightful experience! As a group of five students, we prioritized having a private bathroom, and we were thrilled to find it met our needs perfectly. The hotel is conveniently located near a bus station, making it easy to take the Rapid bus to Ferringhi Bay for just RM 1.40 per person. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, responding quickly to our inquiries. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this budget hotel; the air conditioning and Wi-Fi were excellent! Overall, we highly recommend GAIA Hotel for anyone looking for comfort and convenience.

Clean, comfortable and value for money. The family room we stayed in was spacious. It’s a connecting room with 2 kings and 2 queen beds. Enough to fit 8 adults. I like that the property is within walking distance to some eateries and cafes. It has a common kitchen and living area. A fairly new/ refurbished place.

I like it because it is away from the traffic of Georgetown...

I like it because it is away from the traffic of Georgetown on the one side and from touristic Batu Ferringhi on the other. A handful of decent restaurants supplement the many informal local huts, giving all levels of cost and quality for variable dining. All the local folk are courteous and kindly, though English is universally poor to incomprehensible. Excellent modern buses connect with Georgetown etc. on a frequent, low-cost service. Car hire is not expensive and a liberating device for island discovery. Pop-up Fruit stalls abound for an exotic breakfast in your hotel room or on the beach. Meridien Hotel has the cleanest beach!

Tanjung Bungah offers beautiful beaches.

Tanjung Bungah offers beautiful beaches. There are many delicious food available around, and many cafes too. Apart from that, malls can be reached easily by driving on your own or via grab car. The only downside is when we wanted to go to the city, the traffic is terrible. We couldn't stand the traffic.

I liked the pool best . It has the adult and kids pool with the waterfall and the surrounding greeneries. Loved the easy access to the lovely beach! On the beach, it was equipped with swings and a hammock! For the room, I was finally happy with my upgrade, room 613, especially after I had complained about the first room that I had booked. The upgrade had a beautiful Oceanview. The room had some upgrading done with soft grey hard wood flooring, tiles on the eating area. It was a delight to rest in to enjoy views! My first room was a horrid sight. Rm 601.The carpet was worn out to the bare bottom. Totally thread bare and faded. TV was not working. No wifi password was given. The big bathroom was actually built for a wheelchair accessible use. It had a concrete slab seat under the shower head. There was no tea, coffee nor bottles of water. This room was privately owned and managed. The hotel has no connections to my stay. So read carefully before you booked. The whole property was old and poorly maintained. Hallway carpet dirty and brown and badly stained all along the hallway on level 6. The pool shower room had stale odor and water pressure weak.

Strategically located between Georgetown and Batu Feringghi, as well access to inner roads that takes you to other parts of Penang island. Many food choices of a variety of cuisines. Beaches are clean in general, and traffic not too heavy (like in Georgetown). Nice eateries with reasonable pricing such as Lebanon (Arab food), and Nadiah Tomyam. In Georgetown, a world of food splendor awaits, with Gurney Drive Hawker Centre, Padang Kota Lama, Nasi Kandar Line Clear, BeeHua Kafe, Peranakan House Cafe, Mee Goreng Bangkok Lane (relocated to New World Park in Jalan Burma).

The host guide easy to communicate. The unit is clean, bed so comfort, washroom is nice, there is balcony which you can lepak at night accompany with the sea breeze. The unit is clean. Yes mentioned two times to show the cleanliness. The beach limited to the guest so the sea still clean and not crowded. There is event and own lounge. Location easy for food hunting. There is this one Medan Selera Tanjung Bungah opposite Masjid Terapung, which is only around 5 minutes from the property that sell best roti canai for breakfast.

Everything was so perfect. This place is so beautiful, just in front of the beach. What a view! Gerry and Teresa are the best hosts ever. I felt like home with them. They helped me so much, Teresa walked with me around the streets to show me some good places. Gerry showed to me a lot of tips and he even drove me to buy croissants aha! They were so so kind. This is the best place to stay in Penang, trust me. You will not regret it ❤️

The hotel is just beside the main road. Check in was easy and fast. My kids love the pool. They have kids pool as well as adult pool. The TV functions well with help from the receptionist. Aircond in the room is acceptablly cold though room is big. This cabana room has big space. Good for family.
