What a wonderful and unique lodge! The location is just breath-taking and the cabins/tents are luxurious and well spaced out from each other. And the staff is warm and professional and made sure that we for our anniversary also got a surprise from the lodge. We stayed in room 6 (thanks to others for mentioning this in their review) which has a stunning view, even better than the rest of the rooms. The common areas are well taken care of and have everything you need. We did a sunset hike (not a hike actually, it took 10 mins to get up to the small peak from the lodge), where you have an unobstructed view of the plains below the mountains during sunset. Here we could also observe a family of 18 baboons playing a hundred meters from us.

Omurenga offers luxurious accommodation with panoramic views of the Erongo Mountains, 35 km from Omaruru. The lodge offers a year-round infinity pool and relaxing lounge areas.

We learned a lot from the Swiss owner, who was a guide before. He was always happy to answer our questions. Everything is modern, new, clean and kind of European standards. It’s family owned and you feel that! The variety for breakfast was amazing. Beautifully designed garden and seating area.

We had been on the road visiting different towns for a week and the plan was to have a couple of chill days away from major towns and people before continuing our trip . It was exactly what we needed, Sitting by the braai area , burning the supplied wood in the evening , chilling by the pool, going on a hike, Corne and her staff were fantastic, the location was spotless, There were offerings available eg a game drive which we did not do as the whole plan was just to chill out. We saw some small game in the evenings near the waterhole. We did not want leave to continue our venture but alas we had to. Thank you to Roidina , management and staff.

Feels like a „Gasthof“ in the German countryside. Everything clean and functional. Nice courtyard to sit in, safe parking, quiet location but still in walking distance to everything. Good breakfast buffet, nice staff.
