Simon and Mina were the perfect hosts, they were very welcoming and they, along with their family, really went of their way to make the stay amazing. The rooms were comfy and clean and the food they made was delicious. The location is also amazing, nestled in the hillside of the village of Dollu, it gave a good sense of village living with some beautiful scenery. We did the Champa Devi Hike which Simon gave us great tips for. Rocky their dog was an added bonus!

Amazing place, location, and personal. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the magical atmosphere and genuine warmth we encountered. One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service the hotel's attentive staff provided. A lovely little hotel with great staff, comfy rooms, in a fantastic part of town. The staff really went out of their way to help us and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfasts were filling and on our last morning they prepared a packed breakfast for an early start, which was great. Just metres from the Patan Durbar Square, too, which is the very best part of Kathmandu to stay in. Lots of restaurants in the area but quiet after about 9pm.

Charming little hotel right beside Durban Swuare Patan, the best Thali dish in the restaurant I had in all my travelling in Nepal. Loved it. Also good for solo travellers as other people are solo and chatty! Not in your face but just v friendly! The owner is chair of the Katmandu Preservation Trust and passionate about restoring old buildings

Our stay at Square was perfect! The staff was extremely kind and helpful, the rooms and facilities were new and everything felt quite clean (and this is coming from someone who is a germophobe). I would definitely stay there again.

I cannot fault the stay as a whole. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The food was excellent. The location is perfect for a Patan visit. The rooms and bathrooms were wonderful, clean and well equipped.
