Peaceful, amazing views. My daughter loved the very friendly horse in the next field that always came to say hello. Couple of fords to cross on the way in, no problem in our ute but consider your hire car for the gravel road in.

Fabulous location and views. Very light clean and spacious rooms. Perfect place to stay in winter to go skiing on Mt Hutt (30mins by car). Would recommend even for those, who want to visit Christchurch. As just a half day in the city is enough. No need to stay in the city. It is better to stay within nature. New Zealand is about nature, not urban life.
