Location ... so close to the beach! Very handy having the dairy/takeaway so close. We were en route to begin cycling the A2O bike trail. We didn't want to go into Christchurch as we needed to keep driving to Ōamaru so staying at Waikuku was perfect.

The place was beautifully designed and clean. It had everything we needed during our stay. A very good continental breakfast was provided. Only 7 mins drive to town for food, very convenient location. Rose gave us a farm tour after we arrived. She was such a cheerful person, and very patient to my kids. She has two very loving dogs and my kids loved them. We had a Wonderful stay! Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We were warmly welcomed and accompanied to our room which was very spacious and clean. It was a very pleasant stay and we had a lovely dinner in the Kaiapoi at Maree Kitchen. We absolutely loved this place - spacious, comfortable, beautifully set out and decorated including a cosy log burner fired up and ready for arrival. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the accommodation was ideally situated away from the main town centre but easy to find and not far off the main route, within easy reach of restaurants, supermarkets and attractions - perfectly peaceful and relaxing. Would and should have stayed longer - a real gem :)
