The rooms are just as pictured on booking.com. Lovely decoration, plenty of space, nice sitting areas to take in the spectacular views of the lake! The beds were very comfortable! The hosts Lucy and Joel were so welcoming and really looked after you.

The host/staff were very kind, always available and willing to help and prepared a tasty breakfast, which they also adapted to our needs. The hotel itself was quiet, yet close to the city center. We had everything in our room we needed (incl. soap, shampoo, heater, etc.). We will remember this hotel and the host especially as one of the best of our trip to Peru.

The staff very helpful. Were happy for us to leave our bags as we arrived on an early morning bus while we did a day tour of the lake. I had a problem with my lock. they organised someone to fix it within 5 minutes. The breakfast was one of the best.

Mama Lea, Papa Mario and Ivan were amazing. Such an incredible experience with the most loving and passionate people we met in Peru. Food was freshly cooked by mama Lea and the tour with the explanation of the culture and traditions of the uros people from papa Mario was amazing. Mama lea made sure we were warn at night being the winter and provided hot water bottles. These were a luxury as we were not cold with all the comfy blankets in the incredible room with views to die for. Muchas gracias mama lea y papa Mario

Wow! This place is stunning. Right on the lake and slightly away from the busiest lake traffic, Celia's floating island is a little paradise. Celia and her family were lovely. There is not much to do on the island itself, it really is remote, however Celia would transport us by boat to wherever we needed to go. Outside the room is a private sun terrace, which is ideal for sunbathing and watching the sunset. Breakfast and dinner are catered for, and they provided vegetarian options.

Everything. Lovely hotel in a bit of a random place but first class. Eddison the manager was excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. Nice bar area and good breakfast. Garage parking, hot water, comfy bed it has it all and excellent value for money.

The stuff was absolutely helpful and friendly. Due to my stomach flu I couldn’t do a Titicaca lake tour. So the stuff asked me about the tour agency number and they just called them in order to arrange a reschedule to next day. Furthermore they gave me some fruits and asked me on my well-being frequently. Fantastic crew!!

While Peru is filled with incredible destinations, Puno was a letdown. The primary attraction, the Uros Floating Islands, felt inauthentic and exploitative. It's evident that the community does not live on the islands full-time, using them primarily as a stage to sell overpriced souvenirs to tourists. The genuine highlights of the region are Lake Titicaca itself and the distant Taquile Island. However, both are arguably better experienced from the Bolivian side in Copacabana, which offers a more scenic and rewarding base for exploration.

Lake Titicaca was absolutely wonderful.

Lake Titicaca was absolutely wonderful. However, we did spend a night in Puno (on the land). The Airbnb was very hard to find and once we did, we realized that it did not have any heating and the shower was lukewarm. Even though it was a beautiful property, we needed these amenities, so we left and checked into another hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel had heaters that barely worked and lukewarm water. I would say just a night or two at lake Titicaca would be good enough for me.

We stayed in Puno for two nights and it was perfect for visiting Lake Titicaca. The town itself is simple but has everything you need—restaurants, shops, and easy access to the lake tours. The experience on the lake, especially visiting the Uros floating islands and Taquile Island, was unforgettable. A great stop on our Peru trip!

I like the Plaza de Armas and the restaurants in the city, good prices and a lot of little markets with a very reasonable prices. The hotels were also reasonable. I would avoid to sleep in the islands just visit for a day but not stay, specially during winter due to the very cold weather and most of the hotels do not provide a heater unless you request.

Puno is awesome.

Puno is awesome. In addition to visiting the Uros community and other areas of Lake Titicaca, it is also a great small town with amazingly friendly and helpful people. The one problem, though, is altitude sickness.

Puno is a great city.

Puno is a great city. I like the view on the lake and the Uros/Taquile Islands. I would go back in a heart beat. The city itself is easy to access but due to higher elevation, I could only walk very short distances before being tired.

Best night we had during our time in Peru. The view on the Titicaca at night and in the morning is unparalleled. Wilson and Lisbeth are a lovely couple who treated us like we were part of the family. Rich dinner and breakfast. The morning after we had to be at the port of Puno at 6:30. W&L took us to shore and arranged our ground transportation to the port. 10/10 would definitely recommend

One of the most comfortable hotels I’ve been in Peru! The beds are comfortable, the bathroom spacious, clean and with amazing hot water pressure, something to be grateful for after visiting the Islands which tend to be very cold. The breakfast was simple but delicious with enough options, and the view from the higher floor rooms is breathtaking. I will come back for sure.

Such a tranquil piece of paradise. Run by a beautiful family. It felt like you were part of the family. Generous breakfast, lunch and dinners. Everything was easy and effortless. Eddy made everything easy and seamless, especially organising the taxi and boat to take you to and from island. Highly recommend, was a highlight of my Peru trip.

What a wonderful hotel! This was one of 9 properties I stayed in whilst travelling Peru and had the comfiest beds of all. I had the best nights sleep in 2 weeks in this hotel bed! The view from the room across the lake was magical, at one point we were watching a pair of hawks swooping as a pack of alpacas wandered past!
