Staying in a real castle was so amazing! The moment we drove around the corner in the town and saw it on the hill, we gasped amazement. We had such a lovely time staying here. The castle has been lovingly restored - it has rooms, a restaurant and a museum, as well as grounds with cannons. The restaurant serves Polish food, which was awesome to try. Also the acoustics in the Chapel were next level! The whole place was very clean (I can't imagine how much work it is to keep a castle clean!) and the rooms were good. They weren't super luxe - I've stayed in "palaces" before and they always seemed a bit hoity-toity but this castle you could imagine it functioning centuries ago. It was incredible value for money and we (and our kids!) adored it.

The room was spacious and comfortable, bathroom was big too (and smelled really nice). The staff really friendly and helpful, restaurant was opened til 21:00 Breakfast was really tasty.

Nice new houses, sauna, big grill, fire place near the river. We went with a big group of 16 people and everything was perfect!
