Excellent night in this place - best overnight stay in Poland ever. We managed to get some booking.com discount with 50% off and that was best price performance ever. The hotel is beautiful, clean, quiet, all amenities. Restaurant is good, we chose to get roomservice to avoid stress for our dog after all day in the car. Very nice place to walk around with the dog, before good sleep. Easy to reach fron highway.

The location of this property is great, and there is plenty of parking available. There's a grocery shop at the end of the street, which was a bonus. The apartment is new and fresh, and the neighborhood is quiet. We appreciated the easy check-in and check-out process, although the door code changed halfway through our stay. However, the change was communicated to us promptly. The bed is comfortable and quite large, although it takes up the entire width of the bedroom—but we preferred that over a smaller bed! Overall, the efficient design of the space made our stay comfortable.

Fantastic contact with a host. All we needed was delivered on the same day after sending a request by a message on booking. Room service, new towels delivered a few times during a 7-days stay. Kitchen well-equipped. Swimming pool cleaned regularly. Clean and comfy. TV with a smart TV option (possible to watch on a big TV screen movies from a smartphone). I recommend with all my heart 😍

What a fantastic experience! Motel Drabek is a true gem and a shining example of hospitality done right. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel right at home. The staff's kindness and attention to detail are simply unmatched. The room itself was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It was clear that a lot of care went into making it a cozy and inviting space. The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept like a baby! The amenities were top-notch, and everything I could possibly need was right at my fingertips. Motel Drabek is a sanctuary of peace and comfort. If you're looking for a place to stay that feels less like a motel and more like a home away from home, this is it. I can't recommend it highly enough and am already looking forward to my next visit!

This is my hometown, where I was born, though I've lived for years in a different, more remote location. It's a quiet, clean city with plenty of greenery. There's plenty of space to stroll, meet, and have fun. In my opinion (and that of my family, who aren't from Silesia), it's one of the most attractive cities in Upper Silesia, to be clear.

Szarlej, the city center and Calvary, Studzienka, the Basilica/Sanctuary of Our Lady of Piekary, the Mound... there are probably a few more locations that could be mentioned, but I haven't had the opportunity to visit all of them.

A city with valuable monuments: the basilica, the Piekary...

A city with valuable monuments: the basilica, the Piekary Calvary, and the mound erected in the 1930s to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Polish army's march to Vienna. The view from the mound is beautiful. We stayed at the Stara Kamienica hotel, which has a very good and inexpensive restaurant. The only problem was the air, which, unfortunately, wasn't very clean. Near Piekary, I recommend the beautiful Świerklaniec Park.

We stayed here about 20 years ago and were very happy and so we were very pleased to see that it was still in existence. Our experience was different this time in that it was much less like a hotel and much more like a hostel. This didn't worry us too much because we travelling a lot and only needed a comfortable bed and shower to return to. The accommodation provided us with both. It was clean and convenient. It suited our needs and was very good value for money.

Lovely little hotel, rooms are furnished with elegant real furniture providing plenty of storage. Very nice and helpful staff, quick and good housekeeping. There's a lounge with coffee machine and sweets available at any time, hotel restaurant is very good and with reasonable prices. There's a bus stop to Katowice and to the airport in front of the hotel and two big supermarkets right next to the hotel. Free parking on site. Definitely recommended.
