If you are looking for a hidden gem for a quiet getaway, with the added bonus of the total bliss of being completely immersed in nature, come stay at Rêves Étoilés. The host is amazing! You feel welcome from the first moment, and the bubbles are such an original concept that you can’t help but being amazed by the whole experience of spending the night under the stars. It was my partner’s birthday and the weekend we spent at Rêves Étoilés was just fabulous. The starry sky, the comfy bed, the birds chirping in the morning, the delicious breakfast, the jacuzzi with heated water, the total privacy… I cannot think of anything that I would like to change or improve. Everything was just perfect. I absolutely recommend this place without any hesitation. Thank you, Louis, for taking such good care of us.

Nice Host. Suprise on arrival was very nice. Fresh bread every morning. In the house you have all you need. Very spacious, well equipped. Spotless. Swimming pool outside. A superb, quiet and beautiful hideaway hotel. Just a few minutes off the motorway between Lisbon and the Algarve. Just six rooms but extremely quaint and comfortable. The pool and the grounds are superb. During our stay, we were looked after by a young Brazilian gentleman (unfortunately, I cannot remember his name) his attention to detail was amazing and his friendly, efficient welcoming personality stands out. We thoroughly enjoyed our chat with him during dinner and we would highly recommend him as a leader of the future. If you want a quiet, comfortable, great value place to stay in a stunning location, but very accessible to Lisbon. This is it!

If you want to stay in an ECO lodge close to nature stay here! We liked that it was very basic. The staff were fun and we felt like we had our own personal chef. The cabin had a large shower and mini fridge. Great quiet location and views, free canoe and paddle boarding. We loved the breakfast and BBQ dinner that included a bottle of local wine. Looking forward to a longer stay.

We chose Setubal for a quitter off the tourist track type of experience, and we got what we wished for; Rio Art hotel was a perfect choice to explore the city as its very conveniently located near town centre and close to the famous Livramento Market. The hotel is in a historic building, high room ceiling and beautifully designed. The staff as great and helped us with all the questions we had, they even give you a map and advice on ‘must see’ in Setubal and its surroundings, best places to eat. Another bonus is how close the hotel is to the ferry’s, we found it so convenient to go to Troia peninsula and its famous beaches, highly recommend it.

Everything about this place is exceptional.

Everything about this place is exceptional. From the first day we arrived, meeting with host, the warm welcoming, hospitality, how they dealt with all our requests promptly and efficiently, made us feel as we are in our own house as a part of a family. About the facilities, everything that we read about it before booking, we found even better upon our arrival there. Regarding the location, we were surrounded with the vineyards (the taste of the grapes is exceptional), orchards (sweet apples), swimming in the pool with incredible greenery around you, far enough but still close enough to Lisbon... We have only words of praise for everything we experienced in those 5 days being here.
