This was hands down possibly the best BnB I have ever stayed. Santo Amaro was beautiful and it was nice not to stay in Madalena even if it was a little further away. Parking on site made things so easy. Check in was simple and I had many questions for the hosts which they were so kind enough to answer. The kitchen was so well equipped and the house had everything you could possibly need. The ability to do laundry as well was very welcome after a week of sweaty hiking in the Azores! We honestly were so slow to get out of the house most days because we enjoyed staying here so much. There is a very cute grocer in town too that sells a little bit of everything so you can cook if you needed to. We absolutely loved our stay here. A dream house.

Absolutely perfect. Located in the charming parish of Calheta, this wonderful accommodation exceeded our expectations and we had everything we needed to enjoy our week on Pico with our 1.5-year-old toddler. We were amazed by the landscape with banana and fig trees, along with the stunning views from the house. While using the binoculars, we spotted dolphins and a whale. In the evening, as we sat outside to listen to the ocean and look at the clear starry night sky, we were lucky enough to spot several shooting stars – a truly unforgettable experience.
