I loved my stay at Solar Dos Frades! The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I was able to check in early and also chill at the pool past our checkout time. The breakfast was really nice too! We had fresh cake and orange juice and even scrambled eggs for our family every morning. A proper Alentejo stay. Very relaxing. There isn't lots to do in the town and some restaurants were closed but if you're after a relaxing family getaway then this is it! Will definitely be coming back.

First, the hospitality of the owners. They are very kind, they show you their home. Then the orange and lemon trees! At breakfast you are served oranges from that same trees. The breakfast was very good, the room was nice.

Very interesting place, it is a working farm. The people were very nice and helpful. Loved seeing the history of it. The bathroom was huge, loved the towel warmer.

We loved our stay at this place! It’s perfect for families, with plenty of things for kids to play with and enjoy. The space is big and comfortable — we were able to park one car inside the property and another right in front of the door without any problem. The village where the house is located is very calm and peaceful, which made our stay even more relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and kind, always attentive and very nice with us. We highly recommend it, especially for those traveling with children.
