We stayed as a family, it was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the nature and with great hosts. The pool and trampoline was really nice, especially the trampoline for our daughter. Our accommodation was nicely decorated, clean and ideal for our stay. The owners made the stay very special and memorable, we enjoyed eating warm figs straight from the trees in their orchard. They also went out of their way to help us as we did not have a car. If you are looking for a beautiful, friendly and peaceful place to relax in the Portuguese countryside then this is definitely the spot.

This is a small rural location without the hype or shopping etc. unless you’re going to this area for a reason it is not your typical holiday destination. Very quiet but the Hotel Adro de Charme is excellent. 20 minute drive to Tomar

We were staying nearby in January, house hunting.

We were staying nearby in January, house hunting. The town would have been much livelier in the holiday season! However there was a very good restaurant, not smart but super food, A Grelha do Zezere, which I would recommend. The reason people come here is for the nearby lake which is a centre for water sports. Also for the wonderful mountain setting.

We loved the location and the staff.

We loved the location and the staff. The food was excellent and they were very accommodating with our requirements. Only the deodorant perfumes in the bedroom that were overwhelming spoilt our stay. Perhaps some people like it but we found it overwhelming.

The town itself isn't great but the region has beautiful spots for a retreat in nature - hikes, mountain bike paths, plenty of lake/river beaches. There's not a lot of restaurants in the region but all those we tried serve amazing food.

I was almost alone so i got a bed in a dorms alone. The rooms and lounge and kitchen were spacious, the bathrooms with showers are good and everything is decorated with good taste. very well maintained. The lobby/entrance gives it "hotel" vibes. The hostel is amazing and really central in Ferreira. You have self-service laundry and a cheap shop with everything you need just down close to the entrance, and also an information place. Very central, very-much convenient. I recommend

An amazing place to stay with a great location, near everything in the surrounding area of Ferreira do Zêzere. The house is rustic, recovered with love and dedication, with all the accomodations needed for an excellent stay. Paula and Vandelei will make you feel at home, with very good recommendations of places to visit in the area. I'm already missing our great conversations. Thank you for the loving company during my stay ♥️ I'll be back again for sure!

New and fresh. Sheets and blankets were lovely and very clean. Everything worked, nothing broken. Curtains kept the light out. Plenty of lighting in bathroom and room. Heater worked well and the room was warm when we arrived. Plenty of hot water and a nice shower. Extraction fan worked too. Friendly reception, easy access and enough free parking close to the hotel. Intermarche next door and excellent bakery downstairs for breakfast.

We had a lovely stay, with great freindly staff, and a very nice restaurant. The location and pool, right next to the lake was really something special. The smaller occupancy, and period charm of the hotel, also really worked for us. We will definitley return.
