We looked for a place to relax and enjoy ourselves. We found this in Valentina House, just outside of Chaves. The house was all to ourselves with a really good price. It had everything we needed from washing machine, big TV for late evening Netflix, dishwasher and everything else. The supermarket was ca 5 minutes drive to the town and this was OK for us. We really enjoyed our time there as the host Hanna and her entire family made us feel really welcome there. And thank you for the welcome treats for all of us in the kitchen. The use of the pool during the hot days was just fantastic. We will remember our days there for a long time and couldn’t ask for anything else. All the best wishes to Hanna and the family.

We had a wonderful stay, hotel grounds are beautiful and well located within the historic centre and in walking distance to rstaurants, bars and shops. We stayed in on of the attic rooms which was very cozy. Breakfast was amazing. Free parking. Staff were all very courteous. Didn't use the outdoor pool but looked very inviting.

Most rooms are spatious, not fancy but everything functional, tidy, and clean. Windows have the traditional exterior plastic drapes that are the perfect blinds if you wish to have a dark room even during the day. There’s a vending machine in the corridor with hot and cold at economical prices. The hotel has free private parking, something you wouldn’t find in those located in the centre. So, although it’s not a design hotel or anything near it, this hotel is perfectly suited for any peaceful stay.
