Excellent place for an overnight stay after a long hike. The hosts were adorable, the huts clean, modern, air-conditioned, woth spacious showers. We could spend time outdoors in a lovely garden with access to the mountain stream. We had the pleasure of meeting the house kitten, who entertained us while waiting for the best home-made dinner cooked by the hosts. Breakfast was delicious and made up also of home-made products, all at for more than a reasonable price.

We had an amazing time! The place was cool, and we enjoyed the company of everyone who stayed the night with us. We had a wonderful evening by the campfire and savored the food that was prepared there. The room was small and cozy, with brand new amenities.

We arrived very late but the staff came out to greet us and got us parked up. They offered us a complimentary cognac and showed us to our room. The whole place was built by the owner and used a lot of natural wood as furniture. The breakfast was a traditional Romanian one (others were on offer) and was all home made. The hotelier was extremely helpful and spoke good English. If you want a corporate experience, this isn’t the hotel for you but as a genuine example of Romanian hospitality at a good price, you won’t do any better.
