We liked everything! Jana is a great host! Jana, thank you for your recommendations, assistance, for providing comfort, for taking care! We liked the place a lot. It is as clean as a surgical department)). All you need you will find in the room. The kitchen is well equipped too. Location is fantastic, the route bus stops are 5 mins walk, the ski bus shuttle stop is 10 mins walk. We had a happy time here. Strong recommendation!!

The apartment is located in Pavcina Lehota, halfway between Liptovsky Mikulas and Jasna. Some buses stop directly in the village, others near the auto camping, which is a 10-15 min walk. The apartment is located centrally in the village, with a Coop grocery stored few minutes away. Despite language differences, I could check in quickly and resolve open questions. The apartment is on the second floor. The apartment is spacious and modern. The kitchen is well-equipped. In the living room, one can relax on the couch to watch (Slovak) TV. There are board games and toys for kids. The bedroom is separate. A second bedroom was closed during my stay. The bathroom was clean and newly refurbished. In the morning, the host brought up breakfast and was especially accommodating to the early requested breakfast time. I was able to leave my luggage and, having agreed on a time for pick up, get it in the afternoon.

We had an amazing time at the Damian Hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive—words cannot do them justice. We rented ski equipment, and Tom and Luboš were highly professional, assisting us with everything we needed, always with a smile. The breakfast and dinner were both rich and delicious, served with a beautiful view. A special thanks to Lukáš, who provided excellent service with a big smile and a cheerful attitude. The hotel also features a well-stocked wine room with a fantastic selection. Martin gave us the best recommendations and kindly explained each option, making the experience unforgettable. Valerii from the restaurant also went above and beyond, serving us with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Overall, this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, and we highly recommend it. Thank you, Damian Hotel, for a truly wonderful experience!

There is not much to do in the village in late autumn but...

There is not much to do in the village in late autumn but it‘s a convenient location to explore the area. The surroundings are beautiful. If you are staying, take a walk to the lookout tower for a nice panoramic view. There is a fun park nearby which was closed when I was there on an afternoon. Also within a walking distance (~45 min) is the Demanovska Ice Cave (which was also closed in October).

We went for the skiing.

We went for the skiing. You had to be up and at the ski lift at least 45 minutes before it opened. This was to get a car parking space. The first day we parked on the road side and we were fined 50 euros. Also due to the distance from the house apres ski was impossible due to drink driving laws (zero tolerance) and they stopped our 70 year old guest and breathalaysed him. The house was warm to get back to and a very comfortable bed. No exciting places to eat near by either. Enjoyed it all but probably would not return - not the house but the area. The skiing was good particularly if you get over to Chopok, amazing weather every day.

The house is in a good, quiet location, still quite close to the main road leading to the slopes. There is a convenient car park in the courtyard. Everything was very clean in the house. They offer an excellent breakfast, and there is also an optional dinner with great value. The staff is nice and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, room temperature pleasant, beds were high quality.

A quiet place for undemanding clients.

A quiet place for undemanding clients. The only village restaurant "U Zlazov" - excellent service, good beer, delicious pizza. In the village Fun Park Žiarce - for children and adults. Nearby Aquaparks Bešeňová and Tatralandia, Demänovská caves, Chopok, Liptovský Mikuláš and others.

We went for a walk around the village and to the nearby lookout tower next to the bobsleigh track, a beautiful place! The shop was very cheap for our standards and we had a pizza place right next to the accommodation, where they also have draft beer and were open on Friday evenings. They also have a nice playground in the village.

This small town is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. A good place for a ski trip to Chopok Mountain. Unfortunately, access is only possible by your own transport, as there's no ski bus that runs through the town center.

Pavčina Lehota is the place to stay if you plan a summer holiday near Demanovska Dolina and the Low Tatras national park in general. Just above the house is a fantastic area for a little walk with extensive views, some herds of sheep grazing, a genuine taste of what is the region like. The house has all needed facilities, the room is large and the host is ready to help with anything. I recommend this place very much.
