Very friendly host. Very new and clean room. Breakfast with fried noodle and porridge is great. It's very cold during the night around year end. Location is just 3 minutes drive to Thai-Myanmar border.

Super soft comfortable bed and clean quilt cover, spacious room, serving great American breakfast! Boss and staffs there are friendly and helpful. Overall it's a awesome stay! Definitely will back to stay again if I got a chance to visit Ban Rak Thai in the future.

I loved the simplicity however I had absolutely everything I needed. It was amazing. Everything worked! The view. The sounds The smell. The atmosphere. The sunset. The sunrise. The host provided wood and was on hand to help if needed. A definite must when in the area. Heals the soul. On the way in get some food snacks beers whatever you like. There’s nothing up there

The location is excellent, offering a perfect view of the village. The staff is friendly; while their English isn’t perfect, it didn’t hinder our ability to check in or communicate. Additionally, the breakfast is outstanding for the price. :)

It is a quaint little village that kinda looks fake because...

It is a quaint little village that kinda looks fake because everything has been built for tourism around the lake. But it is pretty and a nice break from the heat. The road to get there has some very steep switchbacks. Not my favorite but you are rewarded with a picturesque charming town.

It was worth the three hour trip from Pai on the most...

It was worth the three hour trip from Pai on the most winding roads through the hills. Top tip - take a travel sickness pill. A small town that's geared up for a massive influx of visitors who on average only stay one night. Plenty of good restaurants and the 40 minute nightime trip around the lake is the highlight. Lots of good photo/video opportunities.

I booked a 4 pax room which has the best view in my opinion.

I booked a 4 pax room which has the best view in my opinion. I felt the facilities, the room space and cleanliness are beyond my expectation. What I don't like is the steel slope pavement to my accommodation.
