The property is sprawling with a gorgeous beach and plenty of lush gardens. We booked a junior suite which was really spacious with the most enormous comfortable bed. We had a few issues but they were quickly resolved and we had amazing meals at the a la carte restaurants. I have to mention ‘Wok’ which was faultless and I would go back just to dine there. We also had a romantic beach dinner which was lovely. The water-sports centre is well equipped and we learnt to paddle board, we played lots of pool and we also played tennis every day. The court does need resurfacing but it is fine for a knock about. We would definitely go back there.

The service was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and truly personalized, the team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just right for us. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Tembo Kiwengwa resort. The service is truly 110% exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond for everything we needed. Special thanks to Amir, who organized a memorable floating breakfast in our beautiful private pool suite! The room was new, spacious, and spotless, with great amenities. The location right on the beach is perfect, and the food was very good. Everything was new and lovely. Highly recommend this resort for comfort, luxury, and unmatched service.

Kiwengwa is an amazing place , only annoying this is the amount of African people that hassle you on the beach - men dressed as masi that are not from the the masi Maru tribe ( pretending they are ) and annoying you when you trying to enjoy a peaceful walk it is over bearing and no one wants that on their holiday - was most beaches in Zanzibar !!

Our stay was amazing and peaceful. The staff was funny and very friendly. Big thanks to Jana and her staff, Lameck in the restaurant section and Janet in housekeeping was so sweet and they looked after us at our 8-night stay. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Lovely beach on the Indian Ocean.

Lovely beach on the Indian Ocean. Lots of restaurants, bars and snack shops from higher end and usual fare to local pubs and dining. Beautiful views, jet ski, kite surfing and dhow or outrigger hires for snorkeling. beautiful clear water and you can walk the sandbars at low tide or swim there at high tide. An hour or so from Stone Town hustle and bustle, but still close enough for a day excursion.

The beach is arguably one of the best on the island—long, swimmable, and vibrant. While it has more energy and amenities than a secluded spot, we still found it peaceful and relaxing, especially during the mornings. It's the perfect base for anyone who wants both stunning beach life and easy access to restaurants and activities.

Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. We loved every minute of our stay at Kiwengwa.

Paradise.

Paradise. Very long and large beach, friendly local people, very calm and quite place. We loved it. Its very save even in the nightwalks on the beach. There are some restaurants, coffee places where you can drink fresh, cocktails or snacks.

Everything was perfect for relaxing and soaking in the magical atmosphere of Zanzibar — from the ever-changing tides that continually shape the landscape, to the beautiful pool and the lovely restaurant. A special mention goes to the food, which was always delicious and beautifully presented — something quite rare for a hotel. We also loved spending a day at the sister property in Matemwe, where we enjoyed a long, peaceful walk along the beach.

The Zanbluu Beach Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Zanzibar. You can enjoy a very good breakfast in the morning and a good Dinner in the evening at the Main Hall which has a great view on the sea. The Facility was great and good managed. The quality of the food is very high and the kitchen has a lot of potential albeit minor mistakes to fix to realize this potential. The staff as well as the managers were very friendly.

Maybe the best location in Zanzibar. Kiwengwa has many restaurants and long beach with access. Having a rental car, we had the opportunity to explore most of the island and be able to compare. Best staff (management, cooking, cleaning, safety) Big house with 3 bedrooms and toilets, sea front, amazing view We enjoyed our dinners at the villa, all problems with water, internet, A/C and tree fall were immediately solved
