We simply love this Hotel, we liked absolutely everything, the new rooms, clean, quiet, the location is perfect, you are close to the beach, 3 blocks walking and also from restaurants and everything in general but we want to leave a special mention for everyone who works in the Hotel, Front Desk, doorman, cleaning staff We schedule breakfast, included, which is in a nice restaurant next to the Hotel with very healthy and tasty options

I was absolutely happy with the choice of a place to celebrate my birthday. Everything was the way it should be and even more: the hotel design is fantastic (the way the architects combined the old historical part of the property with the new one is a masterpiece), perfect location, excellent service, wonderful spa, great food for dinner, great setting of the Champaign bar.

We loved the design of the room. The decor was modern and the room had ample space. Niccolo was in constant contact with us during our stay and was always just a text msg away in the case that we needed anything. He always made sure that we got anything we needed, even down to help with parking. He even went as far as to call us after our stay was over, to find out how things went and if we enjoyed it! We have stayed in many boutique hotels but this one was one of the best. We loved the keypad lock they used to ensure the hotel stayed secure and safe at all times (only guests of the hotel with the code could enter). One of the things we also appreciated was the cleanliness of the hotel and especially that amazing scent in the lobby! Lastly, the location of the hotel was great! It was only a couple of minutes walk to anything that we wanted and very easy access back to the downtown core with the drive going right past the Port of Miami where you could always see cruise ships in dock. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're heading to Miami and want to stay in South Beach!!!

We loved it! Cozy, large, well equipped and clean. The bed was amazing. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking and the shower products (schampo, conditioner and shower gel) where good, the conditioner was good even for long hair. Free ear plugs. The staff was available 24/7 and they are very helpful and polite. The location is basically the best you can get in that price range. Great value for your money. (We stayed for 9 days).

We loved our stay at Urbanica Fifth! The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and beautiful (even the ceilings were good, not as we thought on the photos) and the view from our room was amazing. They have sand towels and sunbeds at the beach included as well and(umbrella costs 15$ per day) and the location was very well. Everything you need you can reach by foot and also it feels (as two womans) safe at night because it's only big streets. We loved it so much, we stayed one day longer then originally planned. For that the staff was also very supportive. Overall, thanks to all the nice staff and our awesome stay.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful and our room was very cosy. I get that it might be a bit small for older couples or someone used to ”normal” US hotel room sizes, but for us (young european couple) it was just fine. Service was super friendly!

Miami has something for everyone!

Miami has something for everyone! We love the Jewish Museum on Washington Street. Love the beach access, even if you stay a couple blocks off Ocean Blvd, it is an easy trek to sand! There was, however, a ton of seaweed at the beach this year (early Nov) so that was kind of not great. The art deco buildings are so beautiful and there are so many! Lots of tours you can do to get the history a truly appreciate the history of this style of architecture. They have duck tours - so much fun, on land and in the bay!!! There is a free trolley that runs the full length of Washington and also goes all the way to North Miami Beach. So many great restaurants for Cuban, Italian, Mexican food and of course seafood! You can get a ride to Bayside where you can enjoy an entirely different vibe - again with tons of boating opportunities and restaurants and bars. Do Miami!!!!

The beach was so big, beautiful blue water and loved relaxing in the sun. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for hire however they are quite expensive. Kasa el paseo has complementary chairs for the guests which is awesome as we saved money

Its a big city with mostly Spanish speakers. The price you see is not the price you pay needing to budget on top of price for built in gratuity of 14 - 20 % plus state tax then the person serving or selling to you wants a tip also (usually for not doing much)

It has a great vibe!

It has a great vibe! Yes, it’s a tourist attraction but it’s easy to see why when you’re there. Wonderful art deco buildings & hotels, fabulous, clean beach, lifeguards, restrooms & frequent security patrols. A multitude of cafes, bakeries & restaurants make the Miami Beach area great for people watching! The boardwalk stretches for miles & is great for walking or cycling along.

It had everything we needed; shops, close to the beach and...

It had everything we needed; shops, close to the beach and great restaurants and bars. All in walking distance. The beach was clean and expansive and waters warm. Very safe swimming if you have children. We used this stop prior to boarding a cruise and the airports and ports are all a short cab ride away. Highly recommend as a destination.

A new generation is claiming South Beach and the beach adapts, Still the best and always magical. Human traffic on the BoardWalk can be a little intense for strollers. Runner, bikers, dogs and gawkers in huge numbers.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the Southern part of Miami South Beach - close enough to walk to the lively Ocean Drive, yet far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The room was very spacious and clean, with a great size bed and fresh bedding. The hotel staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. Overall, we were very comfortable at Villa Italia during our stay. In fact, it was our favourite hotel out of five that we stayed in in Florida.

The hotel is located in the iconic Art Deco Boulevard building. It is the epitome of South Miami Beach. The price is very affordable for the location. The room is clean, nothing was missing. The equipment includes a microwave, plates and cups, cutlery, and even a camping cooler that you can take to the beach. The host was very helpful, provided a lot of information. I recommend!

No insects in the room, no electricity issues, no hot water issues, which is also quite rare for this price in South Miami Beach. TLDR: awesome price/value for this specific location full of run-down properties with rude management.

I had an ocean front room with great views and liked that the property is right on the beach. It's not far to walk for a morning swim / beach walk. This is definitely a quiet hotel, best suited for families and/or older couples.
