Adrian and Marie are the loveliest hosts. Both take time to recommend day trips and restaurants and help with questions. The breakfast was great and we even got a to-go version, when we were early heading to the park. The B&B itself is elegant and the heating blankets kept us cosy at night.

The quite environment, wonderful patios, well equipped house. Safe feeling because of double gate (1 of area and 1 of the lodge itself). Good housekeeping and guard. In the middle of a nice property surrounded by Impala's, Bushbucks and numerous birds this was a place we felt home from the start. One could easily spend a full week here. A lot to do in the surroundings, st Lucia is 20-25 min drive on safe and well maintained road. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely come back if St Lucia is on our planning!

There's plenty to do at ST Lucia, especially going to Cape...

There's plenty to do at ST Lucia, especially going to Cape Vidal and through the reserve, you get to see the BIG 4. We actually got to see the leopard which was so awesome. Beaches are clean and controlled. Safety is big here. You can walk at night and have the freedom of knowing that you are safe.

St Lucia is the go to place especially if you're booked in at the "Hilltop guesthouse". Besides the staff being friendly and host super nice let's talk about the breakfast, now that is something to talk about. The breakfast is super amazing. When you wake up in the morning you are greeted with a buffet filled with everything you can imagine for breakfast which I really enjoyed coz I payed of course but mostly the beds and staff at "Hilltop" are superb. I recommend this place for nature lovers.

Our stay in St Lucia was absolutely fantastic!

Our stay in St Lucia was absolutely fantastic! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Everything was well-maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The only minor downside was some noise from other guests in the morning, as our room was close to the reception. However, this didn’t take away from the overall experience, which was truly memorable. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting St Lucia and can’t wait to return. Thank you for making our trip so special!

St Lucia is a great holiday destination.

St Lucia is a great holiday destination. Nice small village, you can walk freely at any time of the day or night. The John Dorys was fantastic. Spar and Shoprite allow you to purchase what ever you forgot at home. Traveling to Cape Vidal was epic, we saw Rhino and Hyena just passing our vehicle. Please check what time is low tide so you can better enjoy snorkeling at the reef.

The road from Ermelo to Pongola, especially just before and...

The road from Ermelo to Pongola, especially just before and after Piet Retief/Mkhondo is terrible. Rather take a longer route which ended up being quicker and safer as you didn't have to worry about the state of the road.

It's a really nice apartment on secured compound. It provides in nearly everything you might need and is on the St Lucia main road, close to the supermarket and restaurants. Our kids loved the (cold!) pool and we were very happy with the washing machine. Our daughter became ill and the hostess was very helpful.
