Bright Cabin was one of my favourite places while in Iceland for accommodation. The cabin was clean, well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was outstanding. The bottle of Preseco and chocolate bar left by the host was a wonderful touch.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location could not have been better – with a supermarket and a bakery just down the street, and Hotel Saga literally right next door for the family members who did not fit into the house. We rented all three apartments for our extended family gathering, and it worked out perfectly. The apartments were spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped – we could even bake fresh bread in the morning and all enjoy breakfast together around the table. The beds were very comfortable with lovely, high-quality linens, and everything we needed was provided. It really felt like a home away from home. Street parking was manageable, though it sometimes took a few minutes to find a spot – but this was a small thing compared to all the positives. All in all, it was the perfect setup for our big family trip. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay – we would love to come back!

We simply felt welcome. As if we knew the owner, Erla, and she left the house for a while so that we could move in for our stay. The house was absolutely clean, nicely decorated, cosy, with comfortable beds, stylish furniture and generously equiped kitchen. It also has a terrace with a grill. The grocery shop is just a kilometer or so away, there is plenty room to park your car(s) in front of the house. We enjoyed our stay to the max.

It’s a stunning modern property that has been recently built. The views are great and it’s so special having such big windows to the outside. The hot tub was fantastic as was the sauna. The hosts were so friendly and very responsive. The property has underfloor heating and was very warm and cosy. We were nervous to book as there were no other reviews and our bravery was rewarded with a great place to stay!

    Lovely lakeside location less than an hour from Reykjavík. It was perfect for a weekend out of town. The cabin is quite big and very new. It is well equipped with everything such as cooking and grilling utensils, bluetooth speakers, and cozy blankets. It is very comfortable and you don't have to worry about bringing too many things if you just want to spend time in the cabin and surrounding areas.

    Everything was just perfect, the hosts took care of every detail. The cottage is equipped with everything you may need and it’s located just at the lake, with a beautiful lake vie from the window. After the travel and sightseeing, you can relax in sauna and hot tube, even the bathrobes are ensured :)

    The location was beautiful, and the cabin was clean and well-equipped with kind and friendly owners. The outside space was brilliant, including the hot tub, and the location was great for exploring by car too. We'd definitely come back and stay again!
