We stayed this month with family and it was absolutely amazing, my kids enjoyed the horses, the view, it was an amazing experience and a real change to the hustle and bustle of life in the city. Modern, clean and well equipped accommodation. A very comfortable and cosy stay in a quiet area which was very close to the centre of town.

We had the most perfect weekend. Nicky was such an attentive host in the lead up to our trip and during our stay. So many great recommendations and lovely treats left for us on our arrival which you don’t expect. She goes above and beyond to make your experience special, thank you so much. Location was just as we wanted, in the middle of rolling hills it was stunning. We were so lucky with the weather while there too. Waking up to that view was amazing. There are some lovely pubs around which are a short drive away. If you’re looking to do walks we did Thors cave one day. This was just beautiful scenery and little lambs and sheep everywhere you looked it was lovely. Then we did the three dales. For a bit of fun we also went to Alton towers one day which was great too. The shepherd hut itself is perfect. So cute and has everything you need for a cosy stay. We hope to come back one day and this little gem will be recommended to family and friends for sure. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. It was perfect in every way.
