The country house has family rooms. We really enjoyed our stay at Magnolia Hideout. We were welcomed with tea by our nice host Madusanka. He was very kind and helpfull. The view is magnificient and Nuwara Eliya was perfect. The rooms were perfect and big, with a clean bathroom and hot water. We should have stayed at least 2 nights instead of 1. A true recommendation.

What a super relaxing place to stay. The host Jayantha who is always with a smile is all out to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. The location is a bit away from mad rush of the Nuwara Eliya town. This makes the place quiet and relaxing. The view is so scenic that makes you completely unwind and relax. The approach road is a bit tough, but then this is a typical Nuwara Eliya road that leads you to the top of the hill and makes such a difference from other stays.

Huge room, huge bed, huge bathroom, very clean, exceptional staff. Beautiful sunset and valley view from the whole property. Excellent dinner for really affordable price and enormous breakfast with so many choices. Swimming pool within the beautiful garden, but it was a bit chilly. Sauna ready at request and games room to mingle with the rest of the guests. What else to say. I just wish we spent more time at this place. If you travel between Kandy and Ella, this is the place to stay.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Shirin1892 is a country house situated in a historic building in Nuwara Eliya, 1.7 km from Gregory Lake. Shirin was extremely friendly and helpful, kindly picking us up from Nanu Oya train station and offering delicious milk tea upon our arrival. The house is cozy and charming, filled with historical character, and pleasantly scented with incense. While it's a historic property, you can’t expect the facilities to be brand-new, but everything was kept impeccably clean. The location is excellent, with two pizza places and a local restaurant right at the entrance of the lane, plus a Super K store for shopping needs. It's within walking distance to the lakeside and city center, and if you don't feel like walking, tuk-tuks are very affordable. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with the hoppers being absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend staying at Shirin's place - it's definitely great value for money.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. A very cosy ,peacefull ,relaxing and a well looked after property . The staff was extremely good especially the chef who cooked an excellent dinner and some lovely homemade cookies Definitely a place to recommend 👍👍👍

We really enjoy our stay: it is like the pictures, it was very clean and nice. Staff was very helpful, and got in touch also in advance to know if we need support with our trip. Suggested good place to eat, while our friends in the adjecent villa were able to cook in the equipped kitchen. Good and rich breakfast was served directly into the appartament. Just wished we could stay longer to enjoy more the area!
