Very peaceful, quiet and cozy. Joubarbe is by the hill side & that makes the weather there just amazing. It was so cool & windy, totally loved it! Felt comfortable and @home. Rooms are as good as hotel rooms with a cute sit- out area. I particularly liked the shower area which is designed at a lower level with no spilling out and leakage of water into the other part of the bathroom. This is very convenient especially if you are somebody who doesn't like mess around in the bathroom. Often, even premium hotels &resorts fail to take care of such small but valuable details. 🚿 Also, this place is reasonably priced according to me & Nicole (the land lady) helped me with cab bookings at very reasonable pricing so I didn't have to worry about being swindled by taxi drivers. She also guided me for cruise and other bookings, it was really helpful as I was travelling solo & completely on my own. She was gracious enough to keep a check on me every evening. I thank her from my heart ❤️ Food was great too, just like home. Never forget to pay visits to the beautiful ducks just by the side of the fence🦆. Be aware there is no AC, and at night could be a little bit difficult with the insects. Have a good location , by car it's easy to reach port louis. The property is as beautiful and as clean as it is in the pictures. It’s calm, pleasant and peaceful , it’s at the center, so I could easily catch a bus and go anywhere I wanted. I easily got groceries from near by shops, had access to money with ATM galleries around, all the facilities and equipment in the building- kitchen and bathroom - are in perfect working conditions. I have been so delighted living in the apartment since I got here I even had to extend my stay in Mauritius. 😁 The property is in a walkable distance from the bustop, but also Mr. Afzal is always kind enough to help take me with his bus very often. He is warm, kind, polite and friendly. I really love the place and it is worth every penny and more!
