The room had wifi, air conditioning and everything you need. The bathroom has a rain shower, which we really liked. The transport service offered to get down the mountain was also great. We would book this accommodation again any time we come back to El Nido.

Inigtan Lio Bamboo Cottages has a sun terrace and an outdoor fireplace. The bamboo cottages are very traditional which was great and was a unique experience especially in El Nido were most accommodation are made of concrete and in contemporary design. The cottages are in a family-owned farm and you could see the live chicken and pigs freely roaming around which was really nice and made the experience an authentic farm stay, which is a welcome change from the usual seafront accommodation in El Nido. The family that runs the business is also very friendly and accommodating. We had a chat with the family’s matriarch and she told us about the story of their farm and how they regenerated the entire area for birds and wildlife as it was previously used for slash-and-burn agriculture, now as you see in the photos, the cottages are in lush greenery and overall a really lovely place away from the busy El Nido town.
