Equally wonderful excursions can be found along the border at the ruins of ancient Penjikent and the surrounding Fann Mountains. Tracing the Pyan River south from Khorog, the Wakhan Corridor is sprinkled with picturesque villages, ancient shrines and crumbling castle ruins. The corridor runs right up to the border so it’s possible to cross into Afghanistan and explore the Wakhan from the other side. It is comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The host is very kind and always helpful. The place is just a few minutes from the center by car. Taxi is widely available and cheap. The floor is cold during the winter, but the heater and AC work fine.

English and russian speaking,very kind and very helpful staff. Accompanied us also to OVIR to help with the obligatory registration. Room was very nice, new and clean. Excelent location close to airport. 24h reception, we had no problem to check-in at 3 a.m.

Excelent Hotel, good room, clean bathroom and good breakfast. The Host is a very helpful man, he can arrange Seven Lake Tour with good driver at affordable price. He also arranged a shared Taxi the day we went to Dushanbe and the driver was also excellent.
