Really fabulous hotel - if you have to pass through Heathrow then I would stay here. I would actually stay here for fun! Great rooms and beds, very quiet, really fast Wifi. Really lovely front desk and concierge. The flight attendants and pilots and flight engineers all stay here - so great to get the gossip. The breakfast is absolutely amazing - I mean everything you could possibly want, including continental and full English breakfast - and you will probably not need to eat for the rest of the day. However, should you want to eat - Steak & Lobster, the in hotel bar and restaurant is absolutely fabulous - fantastic menu, wine, couches/sofas and vibe. If you have the time and energy - you can walk easily in five minutes to two great pubs, the Magpie and the Pheasant Inn. There are also five off licenses/small grocery stores within a short walk/run, with everything you would want to stock up on if you're travelling, including an Oyster card for London travel.
