It is a family business and all employees were very kind. One of the owners talked to me at breakfast and asked me if everything was ok and so on.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. We had a great stay and found the Seewirt Zauner to be great value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful and overall the experience was that of home comforts rather than a commercial hotel. The location is also second to none.

El Seehotel Grüner Baum, de 4 estrellas superior, está ubicado en el centro peatonal de la localidad de Hallstatt (Patrimonio de la Humanidad), en la región de Salzkammergut (estado de Alta Austria),... this is my 2nd time staying here. first time didnt book the lake view so it was just okay considering the property location and the view of the lake, but this time I FELL IN LOVE with every aspect of it, from the location of the property (no doubt), the helpful and friendly staff, the food of its restaurant, the free shuttle for check in/out to the car parking, the spacious room during our stay (we got free upgrade and just realized during check out), THE VIEW from our balcony was just spectacular. this is what a memorable trip is supposed to be. thanks for making our honeymoon trip blessful.
