Absolutely wonderful stay at Saltbush. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man (his name escapes me) who gave us a great recommendation for a butcher so we could get some steaks for dinner. The entire place is cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the baths but they looked so cool! Rooms were spacious, our cabin looked out onto some grass with kangaroos grazing, which was a delight for our 9 month old. It had everything we needed, including wine glasses, I only wish we’d bought a bottle from them! Highly recommend, we had a lovely little stay :)

The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. En primer lugar me llamó la atención positivamente recibir un email con instrucciones para tomar la habitación porque estaba llegando después de la hora en que cierra la recepción. Me sentí muy bien porque se notaba una preocupación por el cliente. La arquitectura, los colores, y las instalaciones me parecieron muy lindas, cómodas y diferentes a lo que se acostumbra en un hotel. Me llamó la atención que todo el staff era femenino y la forma en que se presentan es muy cálida. La atención al día siguiente fue muy acogedora y a pesar que dejaba la habitación temprano me permitieron dejar mi equipaje, el auto estacionado y usar la piscina antes de retirarme. Featuring a private saltwater lagoon, sandy beaches and an artificial reef with tropical fish, the 28-storey JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is set in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The Ocean-view room was great and also gives a good view of a parts of the Hinterland. The room and bathroom is nice, bright and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay and slept very well. Room temperature can be controlled well via the touch panel. It was nice to swim in the long pool and dip into the sea-water pool down to 4 meters where we could spot some fish.

We felt at home with the country comfort and friendliness of the hosts. Breakfast was divine and a wonderful chance to meet up with other guests and share stories.

Ridgemill Estate está en Stanthorpe y dispone de vistas a la montaña, bicicletas gratis, jardín, terraza, bar y zona de barbacoa. Excellent stay, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. The property was lovely. Highly recommend.
