This was my first stop on my travel around the lakes region, and I really appreciated having a hostel where I could rest, recharge, and prepare for the rest of my travel. The location is also good for a first stop because it is close to the beach, the lake, and Ilha Japonesa.

I love everything about Vila Bela-Emilia! I can start by saying that the property is stunning, a true postcard. When we arrived Terto made us feel at home and while checking us in we were served some delicious caipirinha. The hotel is very unique with tasteful decor, and exceptional cleanliness, the location is perfect, steps away from the beach and a 5-minute walk to Rua das Pedras where you can find everything from beautiful restaurants, boutiques, and souvenir shops. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom and stunning views of Praia do Canto. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast, à la carte service with a variety of typical Brazilian cuisine, and at the front desk you can book wonderful day trips and other services. So I can wait to come back because Villa Bela-Emilia became my home away from home and their staff Pricilla, Terto, Pedro, Guilherme, Thiago, Claudia, Suani, Cauã, Fabiana, Rodrigo, Thiago 2 and Luciana became part of my family!

Amazing breakfast, amazing stuff, great views. We had the apartment room which is absolutely magical and offers beautiful intimacy and privacy. The breakfast by the decks were amazing. It was during the low season so there was just one other couple within the premises so it was a very beautiful and quiet stay. The staff were all absolutely lovely and super attentive. We felt very well looked after and cared for highly recommend staying at this place.

We stayed in an apartment with sea views. Gorgeous sunsets. Perfect location easy walking distance - to restaurants,beaches and nightlife. Top quality restaurant at great prices, with amazing staff with some spoke English. We dined elsewhere sometimes and no other place was as good. There are stairs to get to the apartment so not suitable for those who cannot do stairs. We highly recommend this place because it made our stay so easy comfortable and enjoyable

Located 80 metres from Praia Grande beach, Pousada Caminho do Sol offers free WiFi, a buffet breakfast and an outdoor pool. Arraial do Cabo is only a 10-minute walk from the property. I loved the breakfast, the team (specially Ana, Raíssa and Maicon) and the common areas. Everyone was so nice in helping us get around and accommodating our requests.

The service, the room, the breakfast and the house itself was just perfect. The heated pool was great for a swim. We also had a very good massage! The staff and the owner Rolf are great as well :) Simply perfect. We would definitely come back! Ask for a Caipirinha!! These were the best we had during our 2 weeks in Brazil. & Yes it is steep, but Uber is available and they also have a shuttle once a day from the beach up to the hotel.
