Expensive for a small private room with no ensuite but the cheapest in the area. Was quiet and had a nice atmosphere.

Offering an on-site coffee shop, Canalta Lodge is located 5 minutes’ drive from Banff city centre. Free WiFi access is available. Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours are 20 minutes’ drive away. Amazing service, hot tubs also stunning with the mountain view. Location is just 5 m close to downtown. Breakfast was also perfect. 100% recommend.

Location was excellent, right on the main high street near all the restaurants and bars. Plus a short walk to the canoe club and the tunnel mountain trail. Lots of parking on site. Our room was so spacious and lovely. It was our honeymoon and we arrived to find Prosecco and a card in the room, such a nice touch. Staff were so friendly and having the shop with excursion information on site was great. Coffee shop next door was brilliant too, we went every morning.

Big clean rooms, great facilities pool, gym,hot tub and parking, nice friendly staff. Arrived early and allowed to check in early to one of the rooms. Great location, lots of restaurants on this street.

We absolutely loved Mount Royal Hotel! Perfect location, right in the center of town and walking distance to everything. It is also beside the bus station so very convenient when you have to take ROAM (public transport system). The staff were very friendly & accommodating. The beds are comfy with good quality toiletries. The restaurant annexed to the hotel, Brazen, had the best hot chocolate we had (participated in the in the hot chocolate trail).

The staff was amazing, the ladies at reception and the drivers were all really kind and helpful. Being able to request a shuttle from and to downtown was pretty convenient. The place was beautiful as well
