Del Mar is located in El Rodadero, just 4 km away from Santa Marta. Free WiFi access is available. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from El Rodadero Beach and from Rodadero Sea Aquarium and Museum. It was very clean, modern rooms and amazing breakfast! This area is the area to come if you want to be surrounded by Colombian and South American tourists. I think I was the only one from another country in Rodadero and because of this you really get a taste of life in the inside. This location was perfect for hopping on the boat to lovely Playa Blanca as well.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Monte Verde Tayrona is located just 2 km away from Tayrona National Park, in Santa Marta. Free WiFi access and parking are available. I was expecting a room in a large building. It was my own little hut with my own patio and private bathroom. I can't explain how beautiful this place is. The cooks whip up your food to order. All the staff were always smiling and amazing. The pool was perfect after being out in the heat all day. I honestly can't recommend enough!!
