Hotel Makanda by the Sea, a luxurious adults-only retreat nestled in the lush tropical paradise of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. The whole environment was simply fabulous! The room, our terrace, the pools, the service and the food... everything was just perfect. Even nature was on our side with a sloth on the premises and a whale jumping in the distance.!! Walking around can be a challenge due to steep walk ways. But the Hotel is offering internal transport services.

Food was delicious - room was VERY comfortable and convenient to everything, yet still felt private - Bed was deliciously comfortable and service couldn't have been more friendly.

Especial mention to Francisco who took care of us making our stay more enjoyable. Also to chef Jose who made us try his new menu and it is delicious.

This hotel is located about 2 km from Quepos, 5 minutes’ drive from Manuel Antonio National Park. Its spacious suites have a kitchenette and jungle views, and there is an outdoor pool. From the terrace of our room, we enjoyed the sounds of birds and even spotted a toucan. Mauriel was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the pool was clean and very relaxing.

Our stay at El Faro Containers Hotel in Manuel Antonio was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional service provided by the receptionists, who were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The hotel itself is charming, very clean, and well-maintained, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The facilities were excellent, and we especially loved the pool, which our 4-year-old daughter enjoyed immensely. The food was another highlight of our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a variety of options and a staff that ensured every meal was a pleasant experience. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It’s just a short walk to both the beach and the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park, making it extremely convenient for exploring the area. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Tento hotel se nachází mezi džunglí, jen 2 minuty chůze od pláže Manuel Antonio a 15 minut chůze od národního parku Manuel Antonio. Nabízí Wi-Fi zdarma. As soon as we stepped out of the car we knew we arrived somewhere special. Howler monkeys greeting us from the trees was a great welcome. The location of the hotel is fantastic, the restaurant was terrific, and the pool is exactly what we needed coming back to cool off in the hotel. Great vibes all around, would definitely recommend. Also saw from the hotel a sloth and squirrel monkeys that came down to the restaurant so we could see them from upfront
