There was a special romantic dinner that night, obviously with great wines, but also good food and music.

Great comfortable rooms with a big bathroom and separate luggage corner. Very good and plentiful breakfast. You can stop in front of the city gate and the staff will help you with luggage.

NH Canciller Ayala Vitoria has an ideal setting in the heart of Vitoria. It offers stylish rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and a minibar. Very comfy modern room in Vitoria center. The room we stayed in had wonderful view. Room was clean and tidy and bed very comfortabele.

This comfortable, small hotel is located 20 minutes’ walk from the historic centre. It offers a pretty garden, a restaurant with a covered outdoor terrace and free Wi-Fi. Quiet and modern hotel run by friendly people. They kindly forwarded some things that I had left for us to collect at another hotel and stored our bicycles safely during our stay. The bus into the lively city center and the great tour of Santa Maria Cathedral was pretty reliable and only 10 minutes, but we had a few frustrations returning possibly related to Easter Celebrations.

Nestled in the beautiful Basque countryside, this enchanting castle has been converted into a charming boutique hotel with a fine restaurant and a tower overlooking the surrounding vineyards. It was like going back to a time when manners and good service mattered. Breakfast was out of this world, a carafe of water was left in our room, and our host made us feel welcome and cherished.
