They work very hard balancing their small coffee shop in the hotel’s lobby, their boutique hotel (and raising their young family). Getting to know them was great. Their breakfast rooms are incredibly clean.

Small family run hotel in a great location. Carla and her family couldn’t have been more attentive. Her son carried our bags up the stairs and they helped with finding parking, day trip and restaurant suggestions. Carla offered a laundry service and even ironed my husbands shirts!

The house and garden are beautiful as is the town! The views from the lovely first floor terrace over the garden and out to the hills were magical. This is a family home now converted to rooms with bathrooms and is a family-run business. There is obvious attention to small details - and we enjoyed meeting Amos, who grew up in the house and gave us a tour of the house and garden, and manages it with his parents, as well as his father and Pascal who works there. A really special place! We were sorry we could not stay more than one night. And the Via Verde above the town is stunning to bike and walk.

Featuring a shared swimming pool and sun terrace, Hospederia Valle del Jerte is located in Jerte. This hotel offers an on-site restaurant and bar. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Lovely place and very well kept. Excellent personal attention, food and pool.

Palacio Carvajal Girón is located next to Plasencia's main square and just a few minutes' walk from the city's main monuments. Beautiful property with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Parking was difficult due primarily to how old the city was and how narrow the streets were. If you rent a car, get the smallest one you can fit in!

Hotel Iberia Plaza Mayor is a 19th-century palace building situated in Cáceres’s main square. It offers a mix of classic design and modern décor and free WiFi in public areas. We were attended generously by the staff, they were even willing to make an exception and provide us with the included breakfast prior to official opening of the dining room. The location is the best in the city and the value to cost is very high!

Location was fantastic just by the Plaza Mayor. Car Park had the most scenic views ever and to drive to and from car park was in a class of its own!
