The owners were so helpful. The breakfast was good. I had an injury so they gave extra pillows and set up an early breakfast for us in the lobby the morning I had an early hospital appointment. The attic room was cosy with skylights and plants. I would stay again.

It is a super clean, beautiful old stone house, recently refurbished with all new facilities. The owners of the house were very helpful and super nice. We had a problem with our car and they have helped us resolve it during the Easter week. We are truly grateful to them and would totally recommend it to anyone considering a place in Sarria.

I was on the Camino Frances, and it's right on the path. Very very near the Church. There are restaurants and cafes nearby. It's located in the old town area. It's a family owned place, and the owners messaged me to ask for my expected time of arrival. I told them I'll update them in the morning but then I completely forgot! No worries though, they were very gracious. When I got there, the guy who checked me in was extremely kind and welcoming. He called his wife (English speaking) so she could talk to me about stuff I may be interested in like laundry, bag transfer, etc. They were an awesome pair. She also explained to me the process of checking out, leaving my bag for pick up in the lobby, etc. My room was quite spacious. In fact, very spacious. I loved it! And it was surprisingly quiet considering it was facing the street from the 2nd floor. No noise whatsoever. Its location was very convenient. For those doing the Camino Frances, I would definitely recommend this place. They even have their own washer and dryer for their guests, and a refrigerator where they offer a few drinks to purchase. To check out, you just need to leave your room keys on the designated box. I had a wonderful stay here and would stay here again given the chance.

Obviously more expensive than an Auberge, but for that you get a wonderful property and wonderful rooms. As well as free transportation to/from the Camino trail by the very nice owners (I just walked the extra 1.5 km). The dinner likewise was exquisite!

Casona de Lazúrtegui is a restored colonial house dating from the early 20th century, located 2 minutes’ walk from the pedestrian area of Ribadeo. Although a back of house room we got to see our car in the parking lot, and a field with sheep, goats, a pig and two sheep dogs - which we loved :)
