The Hotel Ceilidh-Donia is in a quiet residential area, just off Dalkeith Road, a major route into Edinburgh. Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station, Edinburgh Castle and the shops of Princes Street are within a 15-minute bus ride. My sister and I loved absolutely everything in the hotel, especially the staff who were all adorable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and also had buffet options for cereals, fruits etc. The room was huge and had huge windows toward the front of the hotel with a nice armchair to relax and enjoy the skies.

This stylish boutique hotel, has the added touch of the owner’s ever-changing art collection and a dedicated Whisky bar, serving rare and unique scotch malt Whisky and adding a new chapter to Royal Terrace's history as "Whisky Row". I accidentally paid twice & didn’t notice. When I was checking out they pointed that out themselves and made sure I got the refund. Love it! The staff is great, the room is nice and warm, location is 15-20 minutes walk to the main attractions.

All rooms have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, a minibar and tea and coffee-making facilities. Outstanding throughout our stay .staff , restaurant and the rooms are fantastic.

Centrally located, just 19 minutes' walk from Edinburgh Castle, A Room in the City - West is set in a building dating back to 1700s. Princes Street is a 2-minute walk away and free WiFi access is available throughout the property. This was our favorite stay on our trip. Fantastic location, wonderful host and we really loved the room and the property. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!
