Dine at the Grill in Dakota Glasgow and feast your eyes on quality, seasonally-inspired produce, a great balance of flavours and pristine presentation. Dakota’s signature impeccable service and stylish interior sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience at one of the best restaurants in Glasgow. Famous for our steaks, we source our prime cuts from naturally-reared Scotch cattle, before we lightly season and grill to perfection over hot coals. Contemporary twists on seafood classics keeps your tongue tingling, including our famed aromatic monkfish curry. Everything. The room was fantastic and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are quiet and we never heard any outside street noise. The restaurant is great - everything we had was great and the best chips / fries I have ever had. Breakfast is also great and good value for a hotel. Lastly the staff are lovely. Very helpful and nothing is a problem.

Built in 1895, The Townhouse Aberfeldy - Rooms & Breakfast sits on the edge of Aberfeldy’s town centre, a rural town in Highland Pethshire. It is only 5 minutes' walk from the cafés, shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a cinema. Gorgeous hotel, warm, cosy, and our room was much bigger than I expected! The service here is exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a long drive. We were allowed to eat a takeaway in the hotel lounge, and they even gave us plates etc. Comfy beds, great breakfast, great cocktails, and a fantastic whiskey menu. We will be back, that’s for sure!

The award-winning restaurant offers an à la carte menu based around ‘farm assured’ produce. The menus change through the seasons and offer fresh local Scottish produce. We feature a selection of hand-selected wines, craft-brewed Scottish beers and cider and bespoke gins from all over Scotland. Very friendly staff, we received a warm welcome at the hotel. Breakfast was delicious.

Set in Dunfermline, Coorie offers beachfront accommodation 13 km from Forth Bridge and offers various facilities, such as a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Located around 23 km from Edinburgh Zoo, the hotel with free WiFi is also 25 km away from Murrayfield Stadium. The property is non-smoking and is situated 14 km from Hopetoun House. The property is actually a cafe with rooms on the second floor. The rooms were very spacious and had a king sized bed and two single beds. The toilet was also very big equipped with a large shower. Very comfortable room with just nice heating that was turned on throughout the day. We did not have breakfast there but the latte was very delicious and was purchased using a £5 voucher that was placed in the room by the kind staff. The location is superb as you can see the ocean from the window.

Situated in the town of Pitlochry, Atholl Villa Guest House is a privately owned Victorian building, offering views of Ben Vrackie. It has free parking and retains many original features, such as open fireplaces and wooden sash windows. We were a family of six, with kids and teens aging 7 to 19, and we had a great time here. A beautiful home & garden, everything was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, gave us a lot of useful info about nearby trails. You can just walk out of the house, and within minutes stroll by the river with its amazing views. Breakfast was very good, and for the rest of the meals there are many cafes and restaurants around. We just loved it.
