This is the second time we have stayed as we loved it so much. It’s a fabulous, relaxing little retreat for couples and the hosts are very nice. Delicious breakfast and the whole package feels very personal.

The staff was so friendly. Breakfast was great; we were able to have cold items plus several choices for warm breakfast items. A short walk gets you to the Abby and the shopping, area around it.

Situated in the village of Gillingham, the The Swan Motel, Gillingham offers a restaurant, a pub with billiards and darts, free WiFi access and free on-site parking. Loved this quaint, comfortable motel with a super friendly staff and excellent food. The pub time with the locals was such a wonderful experience - felt like we were a part of the neighborhood. Great location just outside of Beccles that is an easy walk or catch the local bus into town.
