Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. The personal touch with the owners presence & involvement, their interest in where we were from was awesome; also learning about the history of the area added to the experience. Food was fantastic.

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. One of the best places I’ve stayed in clifden. Everything you would need in an apartment

The Alcock and Brown hotel in Clifden is a central and cosy hotel offering a dedicated welcoming service in a relaxed atmosphere. Staff was very friendly: we got excellent cocktails served at the bar, and excellent recommendations for the restaurant. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a nice Nespresso coffee machine and a classy Bluetooth loudspeaker!
