Offering free parking just 8 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre, Ash Grove House offers freshly cooked, full Irish breakfasts. The breakfast was excellent. The host had us sign up for a time the night before and it was hot and ready the next morning. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

The Stop is 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Galway and half a mile from the coast. This 1930s property offers stylish rooms and a contemporary feel throughout, complemented by modern art work. Where to start. We loved everything down to the smallest detail at The Stop. Everybody was incredibly attentive and kind from the minute we walked in to the moment we closed the door behind us when we left. The place itself was clean and beautifully put together. And the breakfast, wow. We had the shakshuka the first morning and the scrambled eggs and bacon the second. Definitely recommend both — especially the shakshuka. The flavours were delicious and the attention to detail in the presentation was great. We also LOVED the home baked cookies left every evening, and the freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. Russels and everyone also had lots of great recommendations for places to go close by and markets or events on any particular day. The location is also ideal, walking distance to the city centre. We couldn’t fault The Stop at all even if we wanted to. It was warm, cosy and homey with a fantastic attention to detail throughout. And we honestly can’t wait to come back!! Thanks to everyone at The Stop for making our stay in Galway one to remember!

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. Attention to detail was impeccable, beautiful hotel and yards, views and gorgeous rooms. Loved our stay, 2nd time here. Can’t wait to return, loved the history and music at night.

We had a great stay at the Seebreeze lodge in Galway! Everything was perfect and the breakfast was amazing. Thanks to Fred and Michelle we really felt like home, and we will definitely come back. P.S: best part was the private concert from Fred on the piano ;) thanks again for everything !

Situated just 2 miles from Galway city centre, Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate offers 5-star accommodation, free parking, a golf course, and views of Lough Corrib and the dramatic West of Ireland... Breakfast and overall food was excellent. Night time entertainment was wonderful including the piano in the Cocktail lounge

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. The best Irish breakfast we had on our Ireland trip! In addition, there were multiple options on the menu to choose from. The hosts were very friendly and shared some good recommendations, the room was spacious, had a water kettle, tea, coffee and etc. There were so many cows in the lodge, which we found to be very cute :) Thank you very much for a great stay!
