With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. The hotel was beautiful and the spa was amazing. Very inviting and helpful. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good.

Westport Coast Hotel is situated at the trendy Quay Side overlooking Clew Bay. EVERYTHING was amazing. Robert at reception took such excellent care of me when I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel I had planned in Galway and needed to come two days early. It was such a great welcome after a very long day of driving, and I found the room was clean, huge, warm in the cold and with a lovely view. Bathroom was spotless, bed was comfy, and the restaurant on the main floor is excellent. SO delicious. The view from LuSeas on the top floor is wonderful, and the breakfast included with stay is amazing. Every staff member I interacted with, from the hospitality staff to the front desk to the porters was friendly and helpful. I even had a massage at the spa from Kashia, and it was amazing!! Westport itself is a sweet little town. Went to Mass at the local parish and it was reverently celebrated and beautiful. Westport is a very easy jumping block to go to so many other places- Knock shrine, Galway, Achill island, and much more. I have NO hesitations in recommending it to anyone!!
